for the most difficult to open plastic carrier bags. Waitrose wins.
Often have to get the checkout staff to open them for me.
In fact, they all are. Tacky fingers is the key.
If you have something with a bit of condensation on it, like frozen peas you can use this to wet your finger tips and open the bags, it's less revolting than slabbering all over your hands to open the bag.
but the new sainbury's bags they introduced up here after the plastic bag charge was brought in are incredibly shit. they're built the wrong way round; really long in length along the top part and have no depth at all.
and are weak piss for heavy items. it's a terrible design.
and all of the carrier bags had been split in half by people trying to rip them away
but i think that we might have a new award winner here.
