Oracle auto java updater.
And the Java update didn't install or some boring shit and no I'd rather turn it off every day forever than try again.
CBA, haven't even turned it on for six months, can't possibly need any updates
Just "pacman -Syu" and go off and have full sex with multiple hot chicks while it seamlessly updates everything.
any easy way to get rid of it?
delete it. problem solved.
is this just in add/remove programs?
I mean it is surprising how much stuff might use it. Our Extranet does, for example, so if I did that I wouldn't be able to work from home again.
don't listen to this clown get fucking shot of it
iTunes (must be several versions behind now).
On my iPhone 4 I'm not going to risk updating.
Need to turn off my work laptop to get new updates, have put it off for more than a week.
then this window pops up that sits over everything and counts down 2 hours until it automatically restarts your laptop.
Was getting update requests three times a week at one stage. So completely pointless.
Which was incredibly useful when you are printing off thousands of pages for an urgent deadline. Nearly came to blows with our IT department on more than one occasion
learned that lesson the hard way. NO THANKS, DONT NEED NEW FEATURES THAT DON'T WORK
but that is more to do with the fact that to update anything I have to get IT to give me permission to make any updates. Stupid over-cautious IT.
every 15 minutes.
and suggests i use Yahoo everytime i open Firefox. as if m8
when it wants to update, it's better to just give in sometimes and let them install that piece of shit 90s programming lang.
my computer is proper fucked. Think some fucker virused me up rub-a-dub style when I was d/l some 5gb True Detective file.
Shall I just buy a new one?
delete java. problem solved.
