Started having a sort of juice/smoothie thing with fruit and veg. Decent but leaves me starving at about 10.
cereal choice ranges from weetabix/porridge in winter to crunchy nut cornflakes/fruity muesli type affairs in the warmer months
granola and yoghurt
or eggs and toast are my go-tos
with copious amounts of coffee, obviously
Beans on toast.
Fruit + yogurt + granola.
Porridge (winter special).
Avocado + feta + tomatoes on toast.
Always with tea.
i find breakfast makes me hungrier than no breakfast
because I am as hard as fuck.
sometimes you're not sure if it's just too obvious
but answer me this lonzy- how come im hungry now when I've eaten something, but I was always okay till 12 when I didn't eat breakfast?!
I just can't be arsed eating breakfast. I'll have something in the week but I am too busy at home in the week and desk-breakfasters are obviously the worst humanity has to offer.
"I'll have something in the week but I am too busy at home in the week"
it's the effect that the hormone cortisol has on your metabolism. it's quite complex actually and I'm not sure I can be bothered to explain.
by not eating breakfast?
picking up cheerios from all over the floor and sponging milk off him.
I used to skip loads of meals, now I don't and hunger creeps in more regularly
Horrendous choice, as they're obviously just biscuits branded to not make you feel like a massive fatty, but I don't know what else to have.
Used to have yoghurt or cereal, but the ensuing bloated, sicky feeling probably should have tipped me off about my suspected lactose intolerance sooner.
then have a bowl of cereal or belvitas at my desk at 11ish
Porridge oats soaked in water. But with a ton of honey on top to spice it up a bit.
Fridays I have bacon, egg and hash brown on white with brown sauce. It's very delicious.
If I've been organised, i'll have overnight oats 9i usually do mine with oats, frzen berries (which defrost overnight0, a spoobnful of yoghurt, chia and hemp seeds and a handful of mixed cashews, almonds, brazil nuts.
If I've not done that (which is most of the time) then it's two slices of toast and coffee, then crisps and an orange about 11. and chocolate if I am having women problems.)
Weekend i'll go a bit jazzier and have porridge or something.
plus a banana chopped in.
Plus a yoghurt, something like a muller corner
Plus a coffee
Plus a pastry normally to tide me over until 11ish when I start snacking on dry crackers until 12pm when I can start lunch officially.
The Shire's tallest hobbit.
I always worry my breakfasts are protein light (unless i'm having eggs obviously) but them I remember YOGHURT.
I had a poached egg on a potato scone IN BED and it was heaven. And then I got to work and my trainee had got me a roll and sausage so I am officially a fat bastard today.
or whether it's back to Mcdonalds.
Going to send him out for my dry cleaning shortly (only joking. he did that yesterday).
(I am of course joking, I take my pastoral role very seriously)
with a nice of topping of knowing 'lonzy is somewhere out there being irked by it.
At the weekend it depends how hungover I am.
but the problem is, I like to train at lunchtime and I don't like to train on an empty stomach.
but mackerel is rare for me because it's fatty and salty as sweet merry fuck
try bulletproof coffee
Recently have been having half a grapefruit with a bit of toast
Often have some yogurt, this morning accompanied by a crumpet
Granola or similar cereal
Eggs at the weeekend
That's all folks........de de-de de-de de-de-de de-de-de-de
apart from a cup of black americano and a banana if i've been for a run
eating breakfast just makes me hungrier throughout the day, which is expensive and i weigh over 16 stone
just activia and coffee. Very occasionally I'll make a smoothie mid morning.
Weekend though I make lovely breakfasts, but depends on what I'm feeling like. No hard and fast rules with that one.
if all the 'eat breakfast or die' stuff is a load of bull. I'm going to go back to skipping it too (although I'll have a snack like crackers and cheese at 12 if I'm doing lunchtime exercise).
The Holy Breakfast Trinity
I was toying with 'dropping my guts' but didn't want to be crass.
got my twin bananas, peeled back
and some coffee, you can't stop that
with a mug of strong, sugary tea.
Eggs on toast at the weekend.
a cough, coffee, and a cigarette.
(Actually just a black coffee. Maybe some biscuits or fruit, mid-morning, but often nothing solid until lunch at around 2pm).
Today strawberries and a mini Babybel.
Usually just coffee.
Weetabix, Water, Wank
Weetabix vanilla milkshake lately too
two glasses of water, and sometimes a coffee, with either:
• porridge and fruit
• seeded free-from bread with fruit or nut butter and fruit
• homemade granola and yoghurt and fruit
• 2 bananas
i try to get some fruit in at breakfast, cause it's easy enough eating veg with the other two meals (one is usually a salad).
