To me, the week begins on a Monday. Monday is the first day of the week and Sunday is the last day.
Met a few who think the week begins on a Sunday. Couldn't understand why they would think that and a few of them actually pointed me to calendars that say the same.
Realised last week that the Jewish faith has their Sabbath on the Saturday. God rested on the 7th day and therefore if they think that's Saturday then of course Sunday is the start of the new week.
Still Monday for me but never realised this was down to religion.
According to the international standard ISO 8601, Monday is the first day of the week ending with Sunday as the seventh day of the week.
the week begins on sunday too, but you get Fridays and Saturdays off work. Generally.
