bwi ba ba bada do
well you do now
Only a real food MORON would think otherwise.
Perks of carving the chicken is that you get to bagsie them before everyone else
Ooooooh so much more flavour in the thigh! So much more flavour if it's on the bone!
Yes, that's why breast fillets are the most expensive bit, because they taste the worst.
Just accept that you're an indie bellend and be done with it.
is how breasts are even still cheaper if you buy them still attached to the rest of a whole chicken
people a idiots, roy
Whereas, per gram, breast is much more nutritious and protein-heavy.
*underlines the word fillets*
*does a wanker sign*
Full of fat, though, innit, which is why it tastes so good.
puts too many people off. Plus the colour, if people buy a chicken sandwich they don't want a murky grey colour. So breast is more as it is "premium" but thighs and drumsticks aren't in the same league.
I did read that wings had overtaken breast on price per kg recently.
yeah but that's because there's only two breasts per chicken but four thighs.
you get more thigh meat per chicken so it's cheaper to sell.
It was more the 12 uber indie twats giving it the old four stars about thighs while ~200 bellends lined up to whinge about their shitty sainos breast fillets.
haha there's not four thighs on a chicken lol
I have trolled you
thought you'd become the marckee of meat for a second there
More fool her, more delicious goodness for me.
because handling raw chicken is a mug's game
No way you should be a cooking a chicken breast for longer than 15 minutes in an oven at 200. No way. (Unless it's massive).
Thigh is the best part of the chicken for cooking with I think though. Fucking love thigh.
That new nando's thigh burgher is seriously good.
Not wild about chicken breast- even when well cooked I find it a bit like hard work and not fatty or stringy enough for my disgusting desires.
into your links with Big Thigh Burger
I'd never choose breast for any other reason than health.
he doesn't take these things thightly
but once he became abreast of the situation he had a thigher grasp of what everyone else was talking about.
Hope you all get the giblets.
it isn't even like the thigh is *that* nice anyway. It is just a bit nicer than the breast, especially as part of a roast dinner. It is all a bit dull, does anyone really sit down and salivate at a delicious tender piece of chicken thigh?
or chorizo, or a mussel. Better than rice though.
The neck. And then I add secret hobo spices.
Depends what you're cooking. I like making katsu curry sometimes and that's shit if you don't use breast fillets.
it was lovely.
i mean, it's not like it's the /wrong/ word, it's just a bit of a weird context to use it in. like chicken breast is some kind of cultural event. next up: _yes discusses whether pavement has artistic merit
Skillz is very clearly using it in the original derivation from the Late Latin *inspidus* meaning literally "tasteless".
other than the tautology of the OP I don't really see a problem.
"oh I really wish this was the thigh as the breat just isn't as tasty". I mean, it just tastes like chicken to 96.3% of the country.
