because tomorrow is meant to be the hottest day of the year
Thought I'd got a handle on with regular meds but it was awful, and last night was appalling. Today ain't great either. I'm going to blame this on the heat. Fuck off, you sun-loving plant pricks.
overslept and had to get a taxi to work.
THIS HEATWAVE HAS COST ME £26
high of 17 degrees tomorrow.
23 today. Severe weather warning: thunderstorms. Ace!
high of 11 tomorrow.
which ain't that warm
it's warmer today / was yesterday
alright, person who lives in the south east
the sun is lovely
Dying a bit, tbqfh.
my brother's just called me to say he thinks he just saw my dad's best mate from school driving about blasting eazy e out of his sunroof
I've taken off my hoodie
It was pissing rain outside so wasn't exactly apt.
31 degrees tomorrow. Rain after that.
was a very humid 20 degrees here yesterday. cba.
apparently. possibly not up North though...
but not quite heatwave
really humid, loads of cloud
WHY AM I INDOORS
so very hot.
They'll all be calling me plasticniki soon.
(For my blatant disregard for the environment, not my alphabetizing skills)
obviously I don't have air con
Plane cabins have controlled ambient conditions already.
fucking stinking in here
I cannot stand it!
i don't have any appropriate clothes though
nor do i like being really fucking hot
but i like being able to be outside
Give me another week or 2 of this heat, especially at 1am in the morning, and I'll file for divorce and go back to my wintery mistress.
And be outside and stuff.
I like being inside. That's where all my things are.
it's just too hot to do anything during the day and I can't sleep at night.
Got to bare that in mind
rising to 37 soon. i can't ride my bike in this. Tour de France might be fun...
It's like I'm in an oven, but I don't want to complain.
Had to stop for a beer on Southsea seafront. Hate the summer months (in cycling terms), difficult to do long rides without dehydrating. Apart from that,it's glorious out.
That breeze is doing wonders, beautiful temp in the work garden
in this hot weather.
In case our train fails during the 45 minute journey home.
Spent all day in my underwear next to an amp now my snail trail is stuck down with sweat
wondering how casual i can get away with tomorrow
shorts and tshirt would probably be a bit too casual
it's basically just a t-shirt, right?
Can't wait to get out of here
temperature reading in the car said 29 degrees earlier. with the windows down and aircon on
from a deck chair
only to realise there was a window wide open right next to me
Just saw the timestamp on my post :o
i'm gonna be in a tiny rehearsal room all evening where the fan is broken
lord, save me
so i'm guessing humid as ALL FUCK and quite possibly some thunder
where it's boiling and sunny for ages, and then when Autumn comes people keep going on about how "we didn't have a summer"
So I am dead happy about this heat. Got the cutest blue and white sundress on and scrappy sandals that nearly caused me to fall into traffic earlier.
it is quite hot tbf
it's not helping
Muggy as fuck. Sat here sweating.
Can't wait for this nightmare to be over. Can't believe some people actually like this weather. Got two argos tower fans, listening to bleak music and pretending it's winter.
Also, can everyone stop walking so fucking slowly in London, I still need to be work at the same time despite the sunshine.
obvs nicer to be sitting under a parasol with a homemade lemonade
the one thing I don't understand, is our work culture's obsequiousness to polyester trousers and shirts. Cut us some slack(s), yeah?
Popping out to get my lunch was like stepping into an actual wall of heat.
Willing to concede that it's a bit warm today.
when the lightning hit the tyne bridge
theres a man thats been living on top of it for like a month now and he says he's not coming down even if it could happen again
No storms here yet. I'm gonna go for a little dance in it when they hit :D
two of my aunts dogs have died. one yesterday because of the heat (he was very old for a bulldog and had problems with his lungs, wasn't expected to see next year in anyway) and the second was his son, believed to be due to shock because he's lost his dad (who he shared a room with/had beds next to each other for most of his six years) :(((
she's really good at keeping fans on them and making sure they have water that they're drinking etc. but it was too much for him :(
