am i ever going to use it?
yes for two weeks - a month
no after that
We truly are the champions. Christopher. You and me. Brothers for life. I would die for you.
the past decade or so)
Blend Active is where it's at.
and me and Christopher and minted so who gives a fuck? Enjoy your 300w of blending power.
also this makes you an environment killer.
after that: not so much
Seems exactly like my next health fad to adopt in an extreme way for about 5 weeks in July
do you want to be a champion or do you want to be a kinckers?
(NutriBullet = 600w
Active Blend 300w)
yet the Active Blend can do p much everything the NutriBullet can so why on each you'd spend an extra £80 unless you like shoving money up your bum is beyond me.
you need to drop serious cash to get a proper juicer
people are getting SERIOUSLY mugged off here, nutribullets are not magic
I heard that the nutri-bullet is better for getting yr fibre on-board and for less wastage though, Lonzy?
A fucking grown up or something?
fwiw I they look identical. Can't see how the blade is ANY different from the one on the Active Blend, so what's the motor doing differently? basically Balonz and budgey are mugs.
when a 300w version blends p much anything anyway?
by the end of the month (it's made by Breville - they make fucking sandwich toasters!).
I'm committed to this relationship, the nutri-blend it is! Cheers Lonzy.
Just watch the infomercial. Who are you going to believe, the experts or notorious board villains (and mods!) Castrato and Knickers?
hilariously 2 weeks after we got our Active Blend this we bought this
which also blends.
we all know that. Juice is less healthy you dufus.
Both blenders are very good and have their own strengths. If you are an active person on the healthy eating then the Blend-Active is the best blender for you, it is at a lower price point than the Nutri Bullet and still a very good machine!
If you require a lot more power and speed, and of course you have the extra finance available; then The Nutri Bullet is a lot more powerful, it has been around longer, will stand the test of time and it is definitely a better buy!
The Nutribullet also feels a lot more robust and a higher quality build.
RDA of vitamins and minerals.
No-one with teeth needs one of these.
Just make soup in your mouth ffs.
What other aspects of the Balonzoid lifestyle are you going to follow: shitting your knickers and pleasuring yourself with a toothbrush?
bought it for making baby food. it is used three times a day, six days a week
I'm no expert but I think you're meant to feed them every day
Not in to health fads but I can honestly say I love having a bullet in the morning and I dropped a dress size in a month. For someone who is mostly vegan it is a good way to get my protein. And making cocktails are good too as you can use ice über.
I don't have a nutri bullet. I do have a Magimix juicer than I have been using regularly for about 10 years. Still going strong.
So maybe you will use it for a long time.
it'll probably last longer than an blendactive and has more capacity/power/uses
not used one but i've been in the same room as one being used and i was impressed
please don't attack me smug (well you must be to carry those little bottles around) blendactive owners
i've got a proper, cheap blender i got for £25 ten years ago with some proper HUGE JUGS, juice attachment, four blades including a coffee/ice grinder, and portable drinks containers. wouldn't use them though cause i'm not a blendactive 'look at me i have smoothies' wanker
I think the point of both of these devices is it's minimal faff, isn't it? I had one of those years ago but never ever used it because it was massive and had loads of washing up, now the active bellend thing gets used all the time cos it's dead easy
yeah, like i said, if i was into smoothies i'd get one cause it seems like a piece of piss to clean/use
though my food processor can do everything to nutribullet does, AND it's more powerful AND has a jug thing the exact same size as a nutribullet thing
i bought the active blend because i wanted something that is minimal cost and fuss (less washing up, small so doesn't have to be in the cupboard all the time) and i get to have both a food processor AND a small blender thing for the price of just a nutribullet. and let's face is, it was free because i used our doubled-up nectar points
yeah if i was wanting something just for smoothies/blended drinks to carry around with me i'd deffo get one
because i am not a complete dork
i imagine balonz carries one with him at all times, even if to just drink water out of it
I struggle with fruit and veg and it's a very easy way to get some nutrients into me and to mainline on chia and hemp and flax and all that. My nutritionist friend had major anxiety onset at the weekend when I told her I sweeten mine by adding a slug of Ribena or fruit juice, so she made me go and buy lucuma, which I did yesterday. I've not tried it yet as I slept in today, but I'm going to nip home for brunch shortly and will report back.
as in you just aren't good at remembering to snack on fruit or cook with veg instead of raw animals? Or do you mean you specifically have a weird phobia about biting into an apple or something?
I can't chew skin, it's an ocd thing. I maage ok with oranges and tangerines if I can peel off the pith, but I need to peel apples, peaches, plums and it's such a palaver! I struggle to chew berries. As for veg, I'm getting better- I''m not phobic about veg just a bit lazy and prefer lard tbqh.
so definitely not the best if you need to peel 'em.
this is me too. I need a keyring peeler or something cause its stopping me from eating apples
and you could quarter the apple, discard core and eat the white flesh righ up to the skin and discard the skin. Such a faff though!
and then mix them really quickly with a spoon
I went home and my mums got one. I used it to make a pasta sauce and something else. I don't remember. It worked but theres hardly any room to do anything with it. Containers too small. So there you go.
to the point that it broke, so replaced it with a Nutribullet at the weekend (15% off in Robert Dyas). Takes up less space which I like.
Use it every morning. Bloody brilliant. Just wish it was a bit quieter.
I like to open all the windows and doors and bang it on while her nextdoor is outside smoking her first fag of the day
it's foul and I don't get why people are touting it as a 'natural sweetener'-it tastes bitterto me, and chalky. BLUERGH.
I put that in my coffee at home. The squeezy bottle is satisfying.
Thing is, I'm coming to the conclusion that I really quite dote on sugar, I should just get over it and live with liking sugar. I am healthy and it doesn't seem to have all that bad an effect on me.... hmm.
though had a row at work that almost (not really) ended in blows when someone claimed it contained no calories at all.
one day I will learn that it can be better to have peace than to be right.
...the ultimate bloody mary?
it's great for daiquiris and frozen margaritas :)
sorry to hear about your delay
and am lifted up above the filth, scum and depressing squalor of those that do not own Nutribullets.
Could come sooner:

Now to buy some chia and flax.
spinach, banana, pineapple, grape and flax seed. Minced the shit out of the seeds. It was delicious and my son loved it. Easily worth £175 more than the actual price.
