Over a month ago for me.
post shop doesn't take cards
have to pay cash to top up gas meter
Sainsburys at Norbiton Station, circa 8.25am
no idea what I spent the other £5 on
would call "London" was Saturday 9th May, circa 9.20am, Snatander, The Strand.
over a month ago? I use cash machines practically every day.
never take out more than £30, often just take out £10.
believe it, sucka.
9th may, i think
got cashback from supermarkets twice since then.
thinking back i'm not sure i even stopped at a cash machine? must have been a supermarket again. definitely got £40 out either on the 8th or the 9th of may, to go out with on the saturday. before that i think i used one on like the 6th.
To pay for some "cash in hand" business, obviously
Nationwide ATMs now have a most used transactions bit as soon as you use it
£4.10 for the Oyster, rest for lunch. This is my daily routine.
Use them all the time. Still can't bring myself to routinely get >£30 out regularly. Feels extravagant.
Glasgow Central station
I take money out all the time
How do you go over a month without withdrawing money? Mental.
The only time I do:
• Going to a gig
• Going to a pub (/other place) where I know they don't take cards
That's probably it.
central station ATM (next to wh smiths)
Cashpoints that give out fivers are fucking great.
After one gave me eight fivers.
Didn't take out any dollar in the states and haven't handled any since I've been back (nearly two weeks). S'all good.
£50 to pay a physio this evening and £5 to get a chicken escalope and can of Coke from the sandwich shop that doesn't take cards. £5 left in my wallet that I'm sure will come in handy at some point.
when my 8 hour wank thread has peaked at 10
£30 to pay for some taxis in Leicester.
Loads. Turned out it was a free bar :/
and then chucked in a tenner. Probably a bit ott.
Take cash out all the time. Need to be able to pay the local shops and the work canteen as those places need minimums for cards.
Also, don't like to be the card bastard at pubs if I can help it.
and some bastard places still have minimum card spends
i've been done
cancelling all my cards right this second
for cash only takeaway.
It was a confusing experience. Touch screen (which I've used maybe once before) but after putting in my personal PIN number the first screen was "favourites", with my top 3 transactions. They were:
#1 - £30 No Receipt
#2 - £20 No Receipt
#3 - £40 No Receipt
