Not seen the first two yet.
This looks WELL satirical though: George Bush Jr prison!!!
There IS a human caterpillar in this one though. That's even more exciting.
to pick up the story line without having seen the first two?
I believe all the constituent parts of the centipede have had their digestive tracts attached to one another.
Apologies if my joke was too intellectual for these boards.
On Monday, he ate one stool. But he was still hungry!
didn't go over the top with gross-out horror, just set up the concept and left a lot of it up to you. the second one was substantially more unpleasant and all the worst for it.
the first half is quite good as building suspense
also thought the second one was a good idea for a sequel but horribly executed
not seen the third
reading out your resume/filmography
'i was in the Human Centipede'
'what part did you play?'
'the middle one'
in the second film as the actress who played that role in the first film?
So her resume must look extra batshit.
the second one is about a mentally-challenged man who watches the first one and becomes obsessed with recreating it. he manages to lure one of the cast of the first film (on the pretence of having a meeting with Quentin Tarantino, for reals) to him so he can include her.
i think the film (or films) exist in this third one as well, as i read that the director has a cameo as himself when the prison governor asks his permission to create a centipede.
possibly starring Rick Moranis
Human Caterpillar: One Leaf to Live
Human Caterpillar 2: Cocoon with a View
Human Caterpillar 3: Painted Lady and the Tramp
the character's pathos comes frmo his *inability* to turn into a butterfly. His college room-mates have all made the change and are successful car salesman as a result. Rick Moranis's wife resents him for not changing.
