If you mean 'why does everyone like him/call him 'the nicest guy in rock' so much' then I guess the answer is I dunno
but despite not liking him or his foos at all/much I listened to 'The first time' with him talking to Matt Everitt (sp) on 6music yesterday and I caught myself being taken in by his 'easy-going, ordinary guy' demeanour and wondering the same thing
I think it's just cos he was in Nirvana and now he's the closest anyone can get to Kurt
He just seems like a decent, approachable guy. I think the Foo’s success is partly because of the Nirvana association, and partly because they make music that combines heavy rock riffs with catchy power-pop melodies. That’s surprising rare.
