wasn't aware this was a thing in the UK as well. What exactly are they testing for?
from just hating people, to caring about staff's health and well-being. Depending on the type of work, it might be to make sure you're not impacting on your job or ability to operate machinery, or interact with people.
so it's contractually required by some clients, HR have standardised the policy so it goes across the whole company rather than just the builders. Load of shite tbh
to make sure my employees *were* taking drugs and living life to the max.

Have the employers become the police? Is this due to cutbacks in funding? (obsly I am not being literal here)
Do they check out your home for stolen goods?
