Any plans to go there?
Some day for me but no rush.
no plans at the moment. will keep you updated though.
I used to work just across the Severn Bridge from Wales. Could see it most days. Worked with people who lived there and just drove across the bridge twice a day.
Still not been.
I've got it in the bag.
you get to research garden tables for me.
So do that.
"on a good day?"
- we can't, etc.
BUT, please can I be part of this thread on the grounds that I have never been to Scotland? Please?
I have been to Scotland twice.
Edinburgh (not as nice)
I've been to Scotland too.
Northern Ireland? No.
Did you buy any bread while you were there?
I probably bought and ate sandwiches at both, though I can't be sure.
I've also been to the Isle of Wight. Have you been to the Isle of Man? I haven't.
So I've been to:
and that's it.
Though the IOW doesn't really belong on that list.
Any island that is home to both Blackgang AND Alum Chine is worthy of its own mention.
we have some sites out there and the threat looms but never been carried out but nor has Channel Islands...
i remember going to chester zoo and i've been to bristol mutiple times
and had to wait around in the mighty holyhead for a few hours, does this count?
I think you know the answer.
for good or until I've visited wales properly.

that's not what the thread's actually about. I'm never allowed in this thread again.
Probably not the thread for me this. I'll find another one.

Its a made up word
wouldn't have to ask you to explain.
Sorry mate, im often using obscure words myself
So I have been to Australia twice as many times as I've been to Wales.
It's a beautiful country. I particularly love the coast - Tenby, Saundersfoot etc. And the people are friendly (in general).
Newport aside, it's ace.
about the recent documentary "Skint" on Channel 4, documenting working-class people in Merthyr...following them around in a really voyeuristic, subjective way. Basically took the piss, without balancing any of the context out with positives about the area. And there is plenty of good things in the valleys. AND THEY USED SUBTITLES.
It was where the wilderness was for me, as a teenager.....lots of marilyns to climb, I mean the mountains http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Marilyns_in_Wales. It was too far to go to scotland in a day, but from birmingham we would hop in a car and go off to bag a marilyn or two. and they are just perfect for doing that.
There is basically so much landscape, sea, beaches, rivers, waterfalls and so many mountains/hills, I don't understand why everyone hasn't wanted to go there
No plans to go. Don't see the point.
