they have co-op in there
I'm officially correct.
because of the head-smackingly stupid intro:
"If you like to cook from scratch, it’s unlikely you eat much pizza. It takes anywhere between a couple of hours and 48 hours to proof the dough, so you can’t rustle one up on a whim."
make a batch up when you're board of a sunday morning and freeze it all, then get it out a shile before you need it. if you need pizza sooner, you can turn to reheating your frozen Domino's/other takeaway pizza that you've been storing in the rest of your freezer
I cook `from scratch` most nights. I also eat fuckloads of pizza. Where does that put me then?????????
Dr Oetker mozzarella.
i immediately want another one now.
I've kind of gone off pizzas a little bit, I think I just need to take a break from them for a while.
"delicious browned strands around the rim"
a kind of readers digest, posts will be the titles of articles from around the web followed by excepts with the only the rude sounding bits and the rest cut out
Think it's Sainsbury's. Was gonna eat it for lunch, will report back.
not going to change that based on those pictures. pizza all the way tonight.
enjoy your shitty pieces of barely 3D cardboard with photographs of pizzas glued on then
an Asda opened up and it had a create your own pizza section and i thought it would be the BEST THING EVER. got one and it was genuinely the most disgusting pizza i have ever had. the base was horrible, the cheese was horrible, the tomato was horrible and the topping was horrible. i dunno if they just messed up or they got better or something, haven't dared go back to find out.
they'd put so much topping on it that when cooking it at a pizza temperature in the oven, the middle was still raw when the rest of the pizza was cooked.
Pizza needs to be warmed up at a lower temperature to heat it up without burning the cheese. Particularly important with leftovers - 150 degrees, 10 minutes or the cheese goes completely solid.
Alas the outfit I worked for used 'bulk mozerella and cheddar mix' so I cannot claim they were delicious, they also would not try to use 'My sauce' for the pizzas they sold :(
I know about your crooked wang!
AND YOU'RE ABOUT TO GET SHOT
- George Monbiot
"A 12.5in by 9in rectangular beast, this looked terrific. However, the promising toppings cling together in big, unedifying lumps. The middle of the pizza is a quagmire of buffalo mozzarella that, while serviceable, offers only a distant echo of the milky freshness you expect. The wildly sweet, sharply tart “marinated sunkissed tomatoes” dominate any mouthful they appear in. The tomato sauce is not bad, albeit in a flat, muffled, jarred-pasta-sauce way, but there needs to be more of it to titivate a thick, bready base that lacks the lactic zing you expect of a fermented sourdough. 5/10"
now that I've discovered that they lack herby points of interest.
however, I then take it home and put more tasty stuff on top of it (normally mushrooms, courgette, more cheese, spices/herbs). Just eating plain margheritas gets old pretty quick if you ask me.
how that shit hasn't made it over here I have no idea
will you please start importing it
but they don't do a veggie pizza, sadly :(
grandiosa is generally known as *the* trashiest ready made/frozen food in norway, lol
I did use to really like the pepperoni one (i would always add mushrooms and a bit of extra cheese though) before i went vegetarian though.
5. Dr Oetker mushroom one, very tasty if a little oily and prone to making me feel ill
4. The big veggie ones they make in morrisons. Great if a little too cheapo tasting sometimes.
3. Co-Op cheese and tomato. No point fucking around with the goats cheese one they do, this is great but you need to add more cheese (responsibly)
2. Goodfellas can't remember what it's called but it's got a really thick crust that reminds me of being about nine its great
1. The massive veggie ones they make in spar, just ludicrously good and theres so much of it.
Thankyou for sitting through this scientific study, if you have any spar isn't a supermarket complaints please direct them to Balonz.
The ham, mushroom and marscapone one is probably the best chilled pizza I have ever eaten.
