What's the fastest train you've been on?
HS1 is the fastest train I've ever been on
so it's magic
I've been on the shanghai maglev. that was pretty fast.
like Lyle Lanley.
and how one end attracts to the other, but the other repels.....try to force the repelling ends together......now imagine that the magnets involved are much much stronger.......that is the force that is 'lifting' the train off the 'rails'......now to go forward you have the net magnetic repelling so that it is angle to push upwards AND forwards......simples.
Of course this involves electro magnets.......electricity and magnetism its easier to view them not as two completely different forces, but as two different manifestations of the same thing.......the thing manifests itself differently in different mediums/materials.
We most commonly think of electricity as us 'sending it down a wire' In this case there is always, also, a magnetic field around the wire, in the shape of corkscrew/spiral.
When you pass a conducting wire close to a magnet, you will get an electrical current generated in the wire.
When you get interference on your headphones when close to something very electrically powerful (and not protected) this is the very powerfully electrical thing making a magnetic field around it, this magnetic field is then inducing an electrical current into your headphones.device.
Was a bit unnerved at it saying 315 km/h, then remembered that's not that much with the current exchange rate.
Dunno if that's faster or slower than HS1, which I've been on once (1ce).
