Surely it's because they need to sell this part to firm up the next part.
Are you trying to see a good band or just one of those lame 2000s emo bands that you only like because you were young and easily led?
especially from someone who probably thinks Graham Coxon is the epitome of cool
Who on earth thinks he's still cool?
Ain't no one else ever gone there :D
one is a small intimate show, one is a tour of venues almost 10 times the size. Sold a day apart. Don't understand your problem?
and let people pick they show they want to go to. Not everyone's gonna have the cash to go to two, not everyone's gonna find it as easy/possible to get to one show as another.
totally different shows, 6 months apart.
So what would it be better if they just announced the big shows in like 2-3 months instead?
how is life on the BN street team btw?
Not bad, been pretty inactive the last few years tbh and all the privilege has gone from it. No prio sale for the BB show or anything!
the question is:
WOULD YOU HAVE BEEN HA PPI ER IF THEY JUST RE LEASED THEM IN A FEW MONTHS TIME, IN STEAD OF A DAY LA TER
so people can actually pick the single show that works best for them (or more if they wish!)
the affording it argument is moot anyway?
pissing around on broken ticketing sites instead of one. (obviously I'm minted beyond the dreams of mortals)
other more northern people got in on the other venues only to be presented with better options about an hour later. pointless fuckery.
if you're going to ally pally?
like three of them did this morning
and even if it only takes ten minutes, why make me have to be near a computer two days in a row? for what?
Yeah, being near an internet capable device nowadays is so tricky!
not sure what your dog in this fight is, but I had to shift my ride in this morning and I'll have to delay a drive tomorrow to sort it. For literally nothing.
tickets should only be released to fit your schedule and when it's 100% convenient for you. I was just being silly.
(also i think only one of the venues is 10x the size the rest are about 3x?)
hadn't really looked, just knew it was the end of the year.
And yes that's true, but it was only the London one that sold out in seconds, the other ones still had things available for a good hour or so.
More like Brand Boo-Hoo. Yeah? Yeah.
EL OH EL!!!!
I was just joking around but it appears I was spot on.
It was meant to be a friendly dig and then EMO got nasty.
My dislike of the band stems from when I won a bunch of albums including The Devil... and thought it was really really bad. Although Lost and Safe by The Books, in the same pile, was absolutely so much worse.
anyone has at any point about Jesse Lacey, idk
HE'S NOT GOING TO SLEEP WITH YOU OWEN
such a hard worker <3
my dislike of the band was when i heard them and didn't like it
I remember an old thread where you compared them to music from smallville, I think you were and are off the mark, they are a modern alternative rock band and are as strong as some of the notable alt rock bands if the 80s and 90s
it's less than five weeks until THE HOTELIER
especially in a 1000 cap venue, then you are the most wrong I have ever seen you be, you shit towel cunt.
I have no opinion of Brand New.
I will do tonight
I heard they think you're filth.
Is that EMO treats Brand New the way I treated Radiohead, 17 years ago. When I was 23.
is myself. Hurriedly.
While I stand by the assertion that I think you're being a bit of a baby by being wound up by this, basically 100% for the reasons BMR outlined below, I can't believe that anyone is assuming anything I've put is written with out tongue placed firmly in cheek?
clothes will be removed in phases
I've just had a very hard life Theo.
Why would anyone be going for Ally Pally tickets over Brooklyn Bowl tickets if they knew about both? If they'd rather go to Ally Pally, and are annoyed about having a Brooklyn Bowl ticket instead, then they frankly don't deserve to go to any gig, ever.
not in London place
getting sitting tickets for the Friday as standing sold out, and then they announce Saturday. That is annoying, if understandable.
if the one he was referencing wasn't a standing only venue that was ten times smaller than the one subsequently released.
How many times do promoters do the old 'extra date added due to demand' schtick when it was their plan to do it all along though?
