or Leek & Potato
Don't think I have eat a tin of soup this millennium.
I have no idea when I bought it. I expect it's out of date.
I'll eat soup if someone has made it but other than that I am not too fussed.
one of the best, simple lunches known to man
Falls nicely into the 'two ingredient' category too
I see soup as something I'll only ever have if I feel a bit run down.
When you're feeling a bit meh, it can be a great pick me up.
However, I'd never whilst in full health be like 'oh yes, I really crave soup for lunch today'. Nor, with the excepytion perhaps of something like soupe de poisson, would I ever pick soup at a restaurant unless there were zero other things I could eat for a starte (not likely).
So I am with you to a degree, but I do value the role soup plays fairly often in my wellbeing and comfort eating (drinking).
found my monthly tin 'o' soup consumption has gone up from zero to one since my son was born.
just not that keen on soup.
(and I mean 'tomato'. not 'tomato with a hint of basil' or such pish. yes, it is delicious actually, but that's not a classic soup.
Any of the Heinz classic range are probably ok. Oxtail is very satisfying in winter months.
plastic containers these days.
finest butter bean and catalan chorizo soup.
I don't actually like butter beans (punted them all into my master's soup bowl instead) but the actual liquid was amazing and the chorizo really quite good considering it's a prefabbed soup.
