Looking at Prague atm.
was perfect, even with the weather being a bit mopey
A lovely city. Perhaps overlooked by many in favour of the usual of Paris Rome, Barcelona etc. Stockholm is the nicest place I've been to in Europe. Each of its islands has its own unique character and feel. The Gamla Stan is brilliant. Worth looking into.
Looks really pretty but expensive
pricey. I've been to Oslo, Reykjavik, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Gothenburg. Stockholm is the best of those by far. I went in 2005. Bloody hell, it's as I type that I've realised it was a decade ago. I did all the touristy things and loved it. Go to The Vast Museum and The Skansen which is the outdoor museum (I think that's what it was called). Anyway, you can't help but love the place. You'll have great fun there. Enjoy.
The auto correct text feature doesn't allow for Swedish ship museums.
Would quite like to do Krakow again as a grown up rather than a stag weekend buffoon.
Gets a bit chilly, but worth it. Think easyjet are going to start flying there soon.
loved it so much, planning my third trip there for this year.
i agree with BMS1 up there ^ that Stockholm is lovely too
or madrid if you have a bit more to spend.
and fairly inexpensive. Tallinn is good too but not as cheap
so many indie points but like you are better going to the slightly less obvious places.
Gdansk/Gdynia/Sopot (all located near enough to each other on the coast)
Lodz (my favourite place here)
There are other cities here that are great, like Lublin, Bialystok, and Katowice, but the above are probably better for a first visit to Poland.
