Because you ran the tap too slowly, is it still as effective? I sure as hell don't trust it.
You can get foaming and non-foaming surfactants. They still form micelles and help dissolve organic residues whether they foam or not. The foam shows you that a surfactant is there but I don't think it's the foam per se that's doing the cleaning.
you can get to work um, cleaning your dishes.
where where do you clean them first???
they use my fingers to caress off any large bits of dirt, before using my sponge to finish them off.
thats meant to make cappucino, but all i use it for is to whip hot chocolate and to froth up the washing up liquid to a foam (If i didnt run the water sufficiently fast)
actually makes the dishes less clean
and that's because it's the one with the most surfactants in it - why don't supermarkets/other brands just stick a load more surfactants into their own liquids and compete directly with Fairy by actually making a product that is of the same/similar quality?
slapping their foreheads in unison.
there's obviously a reason that they don't, but i'm not sure whether it's because they believe that their own products really are of the same quality, or that they are better off focusing on price over quality. It's probably the latter isn't it? Fairy's/P&G's' angle is that they have the branding and the quality therefore they can charge a slight premium, leaving the rest to focus on price, given that there's little else they can differentiate their product on.
These places have reasonable R&D budgets. So either other places haven't managed to reverse engineer Fairy, or they have and can't make it without infringing P&G's patents, or they can but they can't make it profitably without having the Fairy brand to jack up the price.
It's probably the patent thing. P&G have got shitloads of liquid cleaning/detergent composition patents.
That's what I always say.
none of mine
is amazing. A soft melon tang to it, froths up a charm. If you see it cheap, buy a few. I have only used half a bottle in six months.
