This was probably my favourite moment from the radio show EVER
The service station one broke me:
MAN: *walks back to car*
JOE: Hey! Why have YOU used the service station today?
MAN: ...just had a piss
What are you, stupid or something?
(new Points Of View theme)
WHAT DID WE EVERY BLOOPITY-DO TO YOU?
I genuinely thought this was something that never happened. It happened when I heard this for the first time. I think this their greatest moment, and I'm glad it happened pretty much at the end of their partnership. The way they work off each other and know exactly how to make each other laugh is just perfect chemistry..
THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULDN'T BE LIVING HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Was pretty stoked
do you know which date it was?
The text the nation was things you do when your housemates aren't around
Someone find it PURLEASE
jobsworths/over-zealous shop keepers
Been listening through all the podcasts recently, they're absolutely great. Love how they constantly crack up at each other, seem like they were always having a really good time
In the wake of Mike Reid-gate I'm not sure if I'm allowed to find it funny or if I should be vehemently condemning it.
(it's disappeared from youtube, but the look on the guy's face when he sees the doors with drill holes in it makes me cry)
From an old blog:
"One of my new Myspace friends informed me that a lovely man who helped us out with one of our more successful pranks on 'The Adam and Joe Show' passed away in a road accident in the last few days.
Tim appeared in a segment of 'The Adam and Joe Show' called 'Room for Change', where we posed as designers from a domestic makeover show and turned his front room into a tacky monstrosity. I think Tim's partner set him up for the prank, and the whole thing was shot in a day in Tim's new house in Bristol. The prank hinged on Tim's reaction when he returned and saw the mess we'd made of his room. Would he freak out or would he be polite for the cameras?
His response was fantastically understated and diplomatic, and really made the sketch work. When we turned the cameras off, he had every right to be furious with us, but instead he continued to be completely charming and enthusiastic. We heard that, instead of getting angry with his partner or calling his lawyers, he held a celebratory party in his new very badly decorated room. I should add that we did pay to have it made right afterwards. Working with Tim was really memorable for Adam and I, we'll always be indebted to his good nature, and we'd like to offer our sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
I've put the 'Room For Change' sketch up on my profile page in memoriam. Although we only spent a day with Tim, the fact that he was so kind, friendly, funny and co-operative speaks volumes about what a good man he was."
think it was on the old XFM radio show
IT'S A CRAP COMMENTARY
RECORDED OFF OF A DVD
and joe in general when he used to wind adam up saying he was eager to please and desperate for people to be his friend
even though i was such a superfan i stopped listening about five years ago? adam definitely tried to outdo himself too much and then joe was always away so there might have been some gold that i missed (have all of the shows recorded and podcasts but haven't listened to them ever)
wasn't he the boy on the bike?

Also permanently lodged in my brain - Adam's introductory "Owwwwwwwwww" at the start of the incredible Bob Hoskins song.
