Dalstons pavements were very busy.
There were an amazing amount of families with pushchairs and dogs going into clissold park.
and that you managed to get to and from Highbury and Islington station without any problems
it did not turn into a middle class crisis
So many kids on scooters.
who had had to move from stoke newington to tottenham, because the 1300 pm flat rent was a bit steep. The food there is quite expensive.
as did several other cool non hipster men
But favouring an old version of a thing that objectively has less functionality than the new version of it does in fact make you a cool hipster man.
People love living in Hackney until they have to send their kids to school there
even the infamous police station had gone (where Jeff had been bashed about)
My dad lived in Hackney for my entire youth and it was fairly humour-less back then. There were definitely less hipsters, that's for sure.
