Always find it very average though. Recommend me something to do with it that isn't really average.
i think it was just a Jamie recipe or something but it was right tasty, nice and spicy exterior and all juicing on the interior, yikes! had it sliced and served with an onion chutney in fresh bread. it would have gone nicely with any number of sides though just as long as they aren't too salty.
Maybe I'll do that, cheers
would be madness
Gammon is so good.
i.e. anything that isn't lamb.
It's not that exciting but I'm a fan or bowl it down the hall at some carrots you've chopped the ends off so they stand up. Ham bowling.
and slather it in some marmalade! Then roast it in the oven it'll only need hour and arf. You'll feed all yer mates and missus and still have some left over for sarnies!!!! Pukka!
with a couple of onions and an egg or two (keep quite a thick consistency), then fry.
Its actually really good
Boil in Coke with a chopped onion for a couple of hours
Pull off gelatinous fat, and score the thin fatty layer you're left with
Spread with a mix of black treacle, brown sugar and mustard powder
Stick in a really hot oven for 30 mins or so
you grab that piece of meat and you jerk it real good
Like the tooth fairy, but he brings lumps of pig.
The long and short of it is that I purchased a bit of gammon from Sainsbury's New Cross Gate on Sunday 15th February.
was it heavily reduced in price?
