does anyone here have heterochromia?
i've got have distichiasis (3/4 rows of lashes on the top and 2 on the bottom), grey eyes despite the fact that my eyes should definitely be brown (parents' eye colour, heritage) and lots to do with conditions, diseases and disorders that aren't as interesting as heterochromia.
Or you mean a geneticist confirmed that your eyes should be brown?
when I touch them. Only with my gloves off though.
on my balls.
Seems to really weird people out.
high five mutant brother
Like whether or not your lobes are attached to your head as well as your ear.
big suckable things
oh and my thumb's double jointed.
Because both of them are left hands, like that guy from Best In Show but with hands.
I'm barely blonde anymore though
So technically, all these people just listing inherited characteristics, however statistically unlikely they may be, are probably correct.
What are your clinical features? If you just look like Bradford Cox then gtfo.
skinny flexible fingers
arm span greater than my height
See if a doctor will authorise whole exome sequencing, you might have a heterozygous mutation in fibrillin-1.
they decided I probably didn't have it, but I was supposed to have another ultrasound at 18 which I didn't bother going to which is annoying cos my heart might have changed since and for all I know my aorta might be about to burst. It's basically box-ticking isn't it and then the doctor's own judgement? I'm convinced I have a mild expression of it, pisses me off
people with mild cases and finding out how severity is linked to certain genetic changes. If there is, you can submit a DNA sample and they'll sequence it, and you'll know for definite.
otherwise exploding heart/eyes fall out
you can try emailing research groups that study this kind of thing - they'll be interested to hear from you. I'm almost certain there'll be someone in the UK studying genetic variation in mild cases of Marfan syndrome. I can do a literature search if you like.
Like how every time my girlfriend asks why I'm so mean I tell her it was because I was bitten by an Alsatian as a child.
It's funny because it's true.
Just like Wolverine.
strong like an ox
caring like a care bear
I might submit to whole genome sequencing so I can see exactly which ones.
my appendix was upside down (before it was removed) so the doctors couldn' find it initially. Not the first time a male cannot find something small in my nether regions. (the last part is a lie)
Have ultra sensitive senses though and certain synaesthesia traits so cognitively I might have some mutations
You still might be.
Faps, are you Wolverine?
Left and right independently. Helpful for avoiding predators.
Just need night vision and stealth and I'm sorted.
I don't think I have one :(
