Probably Leisure Suit Larry for me, Police Quest had too many rules and I just didn't care enough for Kings Quest
even if it was published by Sierra. I think is Sierra as the 90's Ken Williams run adventure game heyday.
Also they had great female game developers with Roberta Williams, Jane Jenson and Lori Cole, it's a shame they're not still bigger in the industry.
but they took the chance on it, right?
always enjoyed Ulysses and the Golden Fleece
Because Red Baron or maybe The Incredible Machine are the ones.
To be honest, someone needs to make The Incredible Machine for Android and iOS.
Where else could you offer bungs and bribes to other teams? Or control your stadium's burger van food price? Or sign Zidane for Stevenage through sheer persistence?
Monkey Island II is the best adventure game ever. Full stop.
al the fun of a Quest game with extra rpg depth and loads of different ways to solve puzzles. 2 or 4 are prob the best.
Also lots of love for King's Quest and Space Quest back in the day.
Published by Sierra so it may not count. What a game. Lost myself for months in it.

They're all pretty good but keep a lot of their quirks such as insta-death and dead ends.
Or Space Quest IV.
