harriet harman says it's neither sexist nor patronising. so that must be right enough then.
of just not bothering to appeal to women voters WAHEEEEEYYY
tv floating over hot tub
dog in hot tub
the bairn hanging on a hammock where the roof is
are ones to carp on about political parties using vans to get their point across it must be said.
Gotta love Labour though. They'd offer everyone in the country free food and booze for life and it'd still end in PR disaster tears.
but thanks for your contribution.
(I've risen to this like a bowlful of excitable yeast but whatevs)
And I don't read the Daily Mail - on a point of principle, you see.
I was I meant `the Tories` = `Tories in general` = `people like you`. But I forgot you're a Green Party lad now so... soz.
You haven't yet made any points relevant to this thread. You keep talking about Tories for some reason.
You know when you were at school and they taught you that in exams you should answer the question on the exam paper and not the one you want to answer or the one that you'd prepared an answer to in advance? Yeah, that.
You'd do well to remember that yourself.
but then again I'm identified as a male, so my opinion is not really relevant to this.
labour really need to reassess their pr people
if the Tories did this. FACT,.
is that it doesn't have any windows in the back. You'd be expecting a SWAT team or a gang of crack bankrobbers to storm out of the back of it, rather than a couple of Eagles and Rachael Reeves keen to talk to you about paternity leave.
“The reason it had to be eye-catching is because there’s a big hole in our democratic politics at the moment. In 2010 at the last general election, 9.1 million women didn’t vote.”
is absolutely the shittest explanation I've ever heard for anything.
was 62%, as against male turnout of 64%. I do think that many women feel disenfranchised but I don't think it's as massive an issue as we are being spun to believe.
I am no great lover of Harriet Harman but I do normally respect (if not agree with methodology) her position on these things- however she has lost her marbles with this one. The kitchen table rhetoric is very misguided.
Depending on which Labour MP you speak to, it's either magenta or cerise.
This whole thread is a lie.
Rock the casbah! Rock the casbah!
is what it is.
Imagine thinking this was even worth discussing
women in asda at lunchtime?
their PR people really need sorting
for people to say that this is patronising?
http://www.conservativewomen.org.uk has a HANDBAG as its icon for "Women policies". It's just awful.
Is any of this news?
Instead of talking about thousands of people using foodbanks, the NHS, the unsustainable economy etc etc...
you'll find the antidote in Scotland. The Record, the Scotsman and BBC Scotland are basically extensions of the Scottish Labour press office.
Not sure that's a particularly party political thing.
Labour are clearly good at PR own goals
