Scarves for me.
Scarf is a really weird word isn't it?
I never found my lovely yellow hat I probably left at the pub :(
now i have about 3:1 ratio of hats (called toques in canada) to scarves, and that's not counting the fedoras etc
People love giving me scarves. I don't wear them.
(3 normal, 1 football)
(Theo-ey fleece thing for walking, baseball cap for tennis)
Gloves: 1 pair
including 3 football
hats: at least 4
gloves: a few pairs, don't wear any except cycling ones
Scarves - 3 (all 'normal')
Hats - 0 (not got a head for hats)
Gloves - 3 pairs (proper walking, casual walking, cycling)
and really appreciated it. Might invest in one of my own. Will update the thread in due course.
6 hats - of which i wear 1 in the summer and 2 beanies in the winter
7 scarves - 2 that i alternate, 1 i wear rarely, 1 i wear when it's cold, other 3 are gifts that i don't wear cause they're silky and not plain
4 pairs of gloves - really thick ones, arthritis/raynauds ones, touch screen ones, plain ones
Not 'Theo-ey fleece things'.
Last Christmas four people gave me scarves. I can only assume they each saw me wearing the one scarf that I owned up until that point and thus the only thing they knew about me was "wears scarves".
I already had one. I didn't need any more. I like the original one best.
And no gloves. I gave my only pair of gloves away to a homeless person on Christmas eve because I'm basically a saint.
Possibly hats > gloves > scarves
All accumulated since childhood (mostly adorned in Chelsea colours/emblems) and stuffed in a backpack (or two) at the back of a wardrobe somewhere.
In current usage:
1 x 'cashmere' scarf (only cost £20 from Uniqlo so not really convinced it's 100% cashmere)
2 x gloves (1 Nike, 1 £3 pair from Tiger)
No hats (only wear them when skiing really)
out yourself here so everyone knows that you don't deserve any respect
probably got north of 15 hats.
2 scarves - I think - 1 normal 1 football. I often get given scarves at christmas but they're in the chazzer by February.
1 gloves. nobody needs more than one pair of gloves.
- plain grey baseball cap (worn most days)
- green netted with a white bit on the front (are these called lumberjack caps?)
- like the above one a bit but yellow and even crapper
- wide brimmed black hat, no idea what it's called, something like an amish person might wear
- green train driver style/russian sharpshooter style hat
- one of those hats with hangy ear bits and fluffy inside
- bowler. left over from a fancy dress about 12 years ago
- NUFC woolly hat, left over from being a child
- woolly bobble hat I got for christmas, on way to chazzer
- cammo baseball cap with a red star on the front
- faded black train driver style hat
- kind of browny beigey coarse woven cap
ok that's all i can think of actually.
in reality i probably have more hats, as I've accumulated a number of peaked caps over my time as a punk rocker. however, hats have never suited me, so i tend not to wear them. I do however have 5* scarves, 4* of which i have worn this year.
*If you include the "snood" my parents got me for Christmas.
currently have two scarves, one hat and one pair of gloves, which must be some kind of a record
Just do your coat up a bit.
2 beanies (1 thicker for cold winter mornings, 1 thinner, good for Autumn)
1 pair of thick Aztec patterned gloves
1 scarf (never really wear it)
overestimated. Neck chill is the worst.
Only really wear one now though (Detroit Lions), and use my college scarf (totes Brideshead) along the top of the headboard to stop it marking the bedroom wall (take from this what you will). Have several other scarfs, never use them.
One woolly hat (stars and stripes) that gets a fair bit of use, and baseball cap (again Detroit Lions) I experimented with on on holiday. I don't really suit hats though, so that's it.
One pair of woolly gloves, with those patches for using touch screens. Do the job. Used to have some fingerless gloves, but they have been rendered redundant.
Hats: 4; All beanie hats, two black hats, one blue/green hat and one grey hat.
Scarves: 1; Pashmina scarf in blue with paisley pattern. Formerly my housemate's scarf but she emigrated and I inherited it. I wear it in tribute to her.
Scarves: 11 (walking, sex, swimming etc)
Gloves: 3 (walking, drinking, fisting)
One woollen hat with a bobble in kingfisher blue. I don't wear this as people laugh at me. Bit heartbroken about the whole thing.
Two pairs of gloves. One leather for work, the other woollen touchscreen-friendly (note: Christmas present but have worn horribly and will likely be binned in a few months).
One scarf in a prince of wales pattern. My other scarf mysteriously disappeared after my gf borrowed it.
3 hats and 3 scarves that I'll actually wear.
Around 10-15 football scarves* from various trips across Europe.
*no half and half.
lots of hats, 9 or 10 maybe, but some are pretty old and sad looking (mainly beanies)
quite a few scarves & a snood but I have never been a natural scarf wearer so they pretty much sit in the draw
sure I had more gloves but only seem to have one pair - fingerless, merino. They're great but could do with another pair really.
discovered 'neck warmers' last winter, now have 3, love them. will officially replace all my scarf needs.
2 pairs of gloves
Love 'em. I don't really wear jewellery - I wear scarves as an accessory instead. I like Etro and Liberty ones the best. I have one Hermès one which I just t afford to replace it.
What happened there?
