armchairs, I mean.
I don't even know how I would go about watching it.
Illegal method. Get a torrent client. Google "piratebay proxy". Get on the bay, search for Moone Boy and then hit download isn't it not?
nah it looks shit
it's on that
look at this one:
they're wanting a grand for that. for a chair.
ten years? £100 a year?
still fucking expensive. how often am I even going to be sitting in it?
got a feeling that is expensive
not too bad
would rather have another bike though.
no armchairs, but I have an exciting and informative chair related story. When we moved to our new flat, we were searching for a dining table and chairs. We found a lovely table and chair set second hand, but he wanted 100 pounds for the lot. The table was an extender, so we really wanted it (obvs) so we asked if he would just sell us the table. He sold us the table on its own for 20 quid.
Chairs are expensive.
couches seem to be cheaper than armchairs.
I don't understand anything about that.
This is the sane mid-century-esque alternative
You can sometimes pick up Ercol frames on ebay for a decent price if you're prepared to do a bit of work in rewebbing and reupholstering them yourself.
get your own chair!!!!!!!!!!
this puts it back into perspective and makes you feel good about your interest in music.
over 3 grand for a chair! :''D
plus they have a lifetime guarantee, so you'll never have to buy another chair again.
Those in particular are really comfy too, and the former is seen as a design icon in its own right, even before you take into account it's backstory (it was designed as a birthday present for Billy Wilder so he could watch films in his home cinema).
are you on commission?
but your average IKEA chair gets 10 years out of it. Seems totally pointless to me.
in some gigantic, white room where the only other objects are maybe a cactus, a record player and a copy of Monocle.
In a normal persons living room, they look completely ridiculous.
If you can afford a chair like that, you're not going to have a 'normal persons' living room.
A mate of mine had one with the foot stool thing. He's a lawyer and minted, but had a normal sized Victorian house (but it was in Bethnal Green so cost a packet). The thing pretty much took up the entire living room and his wife was always on at him to sell it.
The last straw for him was went I visited to watch football at his one Saturday - he sat on the chair, I sat on the footstool.
And you won't get a guitar replaced for free if it breaks.
imagine you had a fucking three grand chair. I'd be scared to go anywhere near it, never mind sit on it.
Pretty good for the price IMO. Decent quality too (for IKEA)
not 100% happy with it, but it'll do
a) who buys an 8 grand chair
2) who buys an 8 grand chair online
looks amazing to sit in!
ikea do one exactly like that
that's cool af
Don't get me wrong, mass produced is a different story but the amount of time and cost of materials that goes into anything substantial is astronomical. He makes these amazing chopping boards for example and even them he has to sell for like 90 quid to make it worthwhile.
still have it. It's really nice.
what do you think about this one:
This shop is near me and I like it. But HOW FUCKING MUCH?????? For a fucking footstool mate??????
whenever i went round there as a child i would climb all over it, spin around on it (swivel chair!) etc.
found out recently that it's an original jacobsen egg chair, and i'm told it's worth a reasonable amount of cash. poor old dear must have been horrified.
