2 times irked
are stuck in that avalanche.
Its pretty comforting to see at least one or two people on my street at any time of day, even the dead of night. That's sort of the point of city living isn't it?
in account the new parts of London that used to be parts of Essex, Kent, etc etc?
before that it probably means this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/County_of_London
The population of the outer parts would've been minimal anyway, certainly up until the 1945. There's a good piece about it here http://www.citymetric.com/skylines/8-more-ways-visualising-londons-growth-question-density-676
There's another one they published too, which looked at the London economic area, which takes into account New Towns and commuting and how that's actually grown massively since the second world war, but I can't find it.
Didn't seem that busy.
Saw a couple of big dogs, but otherwise nothing too intimidating.
