Did anyone else see this last night on C4? It was really funny. Stars Rob Delaney and Sharon Horgan.
Really dry humour, some actual laughs though which TV comedies rarely do for me, very enjoyable.
no canned laughter too which is always a bonus
Made me laugh loads and I love the leads. I totally bought it and am really keen for episode 2. Usually takes me a while to warm to a comedy too! Haven't felt this way about a comedy since I first saw him and her...
since I last watched a comedy and was genuinely interested in what happened to the characters and how the story would develop.
Loads of potential in this, especially if you look at who else is going to appear in latter episodes.
Last season was complete gold, I love them. Watch it if you didn't already then watch the new one.
Always forget to watch anything she's in though.
so I should probably check that out right?
if you like the fact that there's a bit of redeeming warmth to Catastrophe.
Because there's none of that in Pulling.
Did you watch the last series of Him and Her?
It was nice and I liked it
Looking forward to seeing this when back!
Surprised they managed to make a second series so swiftly...
they certainly haven't taken the foot off the gas since the last series. I love Chris' character,
Unsurprisingly thought this was excellent and am already jonesing for ep2.
Was a bit worried that it might have become a bit #bigposhhouse but seems to have avoided that. She's too funny for it to recede into latter day Outnumbered or Lead Balloon territory.
but disappointed to see that the house is so nice
would have liked to see them living somewhere a bit shit
Cos it’s clear now that’s taken the job that he was having a real moral problem with in the last series (which clearly pays pretty well)…and I don’t think that will necessarily have gone away..think that might end up coming back in a big way this series and he'll try and become an artisan baker or something
which is a shame, because everything before that has been so good.
If you buy the morning after pill (or pregnancy tests, or anything like that) it's never itemised on receipts! To stop this sort of sitcom farce/drama.
Was still funny though so I'll allow them a little dramatic licence. I liked the last couple of episodes more because the story elements are starting to come together and it has been more than just 'look at us and how hard it is being in a relationship and raising kids and holding down a job'.
i've only seen 1 episode by complete chance. glad i did because it's decent.
i can already see it being my new favourite thing once peep show's over (which it shouldn't be because this new series is easily the best one since series 4 so far).
