If it's made of 100% cotton, try a hot wash and high spin cycle. Danger is this could shrink it to being too small though, unless it's about a size too big.
Tbh I'd just get it tailored, shouldn't cost more than £10 and then you can get it to fit exactly as you want.

I give it a year before this is 'fashionable' again
get it altered by a tailor. Shouldn't cost much depending on what needs doing.
If it's too big in the shoulders or collar then sell it / give it away. It's beyond rescue.
if you even consider having a tailor alter them?
I wear it under jumpers and to bed, then wash it regularly. Hoping it will shrink and become faded in time.

it's deffo a little large, was a bit of a silly sales buy, i'll give it a couple of washes which should take the collar down a little and then i'll get it taken in a bit in the body by a tailor
