I think waterfall taps look ugly, and are impractical. I don't understand why they're sold as a luxury option and seen as desirable.
and none of them are actually attractive:
on a 65% saving.
Still not fixed your tap then?
Plus that central channel is nothing but a haven for mildew.
Not really that keen on mixer taps to be honest.
Also I will be getting a new tap when I move... I don't think I looked at it so it could be any sort of tap! Maybe a waterfall (thanks marckee) tap! I hope not.
Do you like destroying the environment?
I prefer having a tap on each side of a sink. How sinks should be.
Furthermore, I negate the need for them by adjusting my boiler so that the hot water that comes out of the tap is never too hot to wash your hands in. Although of course this makes for a more efficient use of energy and doesn't enable me to destroy quite as much environment as I'd like.
Enjoy burning your hand/your hand being freezing, nerd
so the hot water's always at a perfect temperature but whatever.
Therefore we do have to have the temperature adjusted at the boiler, HOWEVER, I find the perfect shower temperature different to my spouse and also I find the water not as hot as I'd like for the washing up so have to boil a kettle to top it up with sometimes.
I hope you've enjoyed this post
None of those are issues that I have.
There's also the point that as I live in rented accommodation I have little to no influence on the tap configuration in our flat.
between some guy letting a flat and someone wanting to rent it. It went on for ages and then the guy refused to come and view it as it did NOT have a mixer tap.
and maybe even for non-mixer taps as well actually
couldn't live anywhere non-gas hobbed but this email was insane.
I'd rather just stick to gas.
OK I could live in a place with an induction hob if I had to. In fact I need to buy a range so could go induction... but I won't.
My parents had a new kitchen put in with induction hobs. Had to bin off all their old pots and pans and buy new ones. Then realised you can't do those stupid eXpresso pots on induction and had to have a separate gas ring installed. You couldn't make it up!!
*to follow at a later date
But now got a ekectric hib and ivenabd it is great
If you ignore the burning yourself, the kids fingers getting burnt, melting stuff on it because you've forgotten it's hot
My parents have recently redone their bathroom and the bath now fills up from one of those in-built tap things within the bath itself. Not sure how I feel about it.
But more of an oval than a circle and with rims/edges for the water to flow down
It has bizarre pressure, so you can't turn it on without it first dumping a load of water on the backboard of the sink (backboard? The surround bit at the back, you know where you might put your soap) which then dribbles down onto the floor.
taps for wankers
and its usually the width of the bit of my head i need to wash so works out perfectly.
but it has put me off my lunch.
with buttons where one pops out BOILING water for hot beverages and the other cold drinking water? Now that's a fucking tap set up.
We're now enemies
we *continue* to be enemies
but they installed it far too high above the sink, so if you turned the tap on more than just a dribble, it'd just hit the bottom of the sink and splash all over the place. good work.
- Restaurant bathroom (fancy to quite fancy).
