Ox bow lake?
What's your poison?
lagoons are pretty good tbf
just look at it
would quite like to be there right now
It was bloody lovely
did you do the mud mask thing too?
The gf popped a bit on though
and have to perma-hold it in the 'cheers' position?
Did have to get out, get my phone and get back in again which was both awkward and fucking freezing
cheaper than most bars
where a drink came for free and you paid with a swipe of your wristband. What a world.
It's a body of water.
It is now BANNED
Geothermal springs then.
But look how happy this guy is:
where the kid puts the dog lead down and the dog waits for the kid? that.
can be both a) beautiful and b) something you associate with pirates
Specifically Plitvice lakes in Croatia and Bohinj in Slovenia.
Oh also shout out to Skadar, Montenegro:
it's alright init
So 7% of the brain we use is water.
i made a really good joke featuring canals yesterday
i don't really like canals though anyway
apparently balonz said canal or something
and swam in this waterfall pool. It was amazing: http://us.123rf.com/450wm/digitalg/digitalg0910/digitalg091000002/5658593-a-small-waterfall-and-green-lagoon-hidden-in-the-mountains-arado-river-peneda-geres-national-park-po.jpg
went swimming in this one:
blind fish kept swimming in to me. Bit off-putting.
falling down and stabbing me though
You can belt through and cover the car with muddy water, and any bonus peds
you would appear to have a beautiful soul Elaina
I just happened upon the rocky valley/st nectans glen whilst walking around the cornwall coast
Been going to St Nectans glen for over 20 years now, so it must be one of my favourates
and just further downstream from here is the rocky valley http://www.cornwalls.co.uk/photos/data/media/4/trevillet-rocky-valley.jpg just behind these old shelters are these
http://www.cornishwitchcraft.co.uk/images/sacred-sites/rocky-valley.jpg (which are sometimes known as troytown mazes, my sons called Troy) and further down still
there are lots of flat rocks to sunbathe on
and where it meets the ocean
I like the river wye a lot
used to go swimming in it when I stayed at my uncles pub, 'the eagles' in Rhayader
going to start planning next holiday right now
when I went down this bit in my shikara lots of kids on the sides of the river or in boats waved and shouted 'sahib salaam' and 'mimi salaam'. .....I dont think many white people strayed off dal lake and into the waterways then ?
Dal lake itself is spectacular
http://aupces.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Srinagar-dal-lake.jpg (I negotiated hiring JUST a plain shikara like this, for whilst I stayed on the lake, most tourists all hired sort of water taxi type shikaras, so I was the only white guy paddling my own shikara, I wore a black astrakhan hat and wore black jodpuhr pants with black top.....it was great, loads of european and antipodean women staying on houseboats used to shout out to me asking if i lived there and if they could hire me (to take them to shore or islands) It made me feel very special :D
These were some of the water taxi shikaras
....It would have been wrong for me to have taken away their custom so I restrained myself from the urge to indulge in the opportunity of ferrying females around, i just flirted and bantered with them all....still it made me feel like a dog with 10 dicks, and I got some tokes on a few hookahs that way
(prompted by the word not the subject)
body is made up 95% of water
or watertight skip
Classic 80s retro Geography lessons. The guy that taught me about them genuinely wore a blazer with elbow patches.
This one has significance to me, its on top of Norland moor where I used to spend nights. I've been in it, in the full moonlight, skyclad. Used mud from it to cover myself with too, and danced in it....its not exactly crystal clear though.
took turns to dip in that.
who was a generation bit older than me, she used to live in a house with a stream at the bottom of her garden, she got to get skyclad and immerse herself under that
