The whole decade. Probably most of the best non-tory people on here it seems.
So probably the seventies?
Does Owen know?
I'll update my record of Dissers political persuasions.
Although I take exception at the 70's assertion, as he is a month younger than I.
Pointless marker on a blank slate. SMTV live was OK though.
that excludes NUMEROUS excellent non-Tories.
request for change of threshold for entry to thread to at least '88.
what are people born in the 1990s earliest memories of the 1990s?
or rather what is your earliest memory?
I remember dropping a brick on my foot when I was 3.
for probably the last time :(
going swimming for the first time
walking across a table at my grandmas old house, bathing at my grandma's old house, staying there on saturday nights and my dad bringing me a packet of tooty fruities every sunday morning, my grandma's neighbours
my auntie's dog, the garden of the people nextdoor to her who had a rabbit, bath salt things my cousin had that used to change the colour of water
the lightfoot centre in general
my nanna giving us martini lemonade
from a lot of the early nineties.... I've no idea how old I was in any of my memories.
...you weren't there!!
when ok computer came out
my first day at nursery - walking in, talking to two kids who are still my best mates (awwww) and coming home and eating lunch in the conservatory (pitta bread and cucumber and red leicester - little picky bits), i was wearing a horizontally striped multi coloured t shirt (which was my favourite at the time)
watching the guy on ITV who did the weather on the floating island of britain and turned out to be a paedo i think
feel like i should remember things from before i was 6 but i really don't :/
i remember playing bamboozled with my mam every week
Genuinely feel bad for anyone not born in the 80s, unlucky.
yeah it must suck not to have been conceived in a sweaty mess of perm, spandex and leg-warmer
Nah 80s childhood 90s teen hood was so good younger generations keep recycling it even now
IN the 1980s everyone was banging on about how great the 60s was, yearning for the days of peace and love blah blah. The 70s were reviled as the decade that style forgot.
Come the 90s and suddenly all the kids are wearing Led Zep T-Shirts, bemoaning the lack of proper rockers, and poking fun at the horrid perm, spandex and leg-warmers of the 80s, the decade that style forgot.
Am curious to see if anything can redeem the wasteland of 2001-10 though.
and I remember being very somber and serious on the morning after the election and someone asking me what was up and I sighed and replied "another 4 years of Tory indifference".
They must have thought I was a right little prick.
You're all babies by the way who should get yourselves born in an earlier decade.
To be honest I'd rather she didn't.
shoulda made this an SSP, all these people not born in the 90s are bringing with them an unhealthy atmosphere
'im an 80s baby though
I have no memories of the 90s
but im a 90s bitch
I DONT CARE
I LOVE IT
I prefer it if they don't mention it.
