most of them are covered in non-white stains.
Thanks for your time.
look at the duvet on my bed rn
you iron your fucking duvet get a grip
Mine are black, grey, brown and cream.
Literally have no idea. John lewis? I've never bought a duvet
where they are having a half price sale.
but the one I got for them feels very polyestery and a bit.... clammy?
I have a good one I got from Tesco direct (they'll deliver to a Tesco store and you can collect).
has anyone ever bought a bed from one of those bed shops you see about?
if so, was that bed any better than a bed you'd buy from, say, primark?
I have my eye on one from Dreams.
It's a good bed and mattress.
(Duvet from Marks and Spencers)
What about those *discount* bed shops you see? How many beds to they sell a year? Is it like car sales where you're constantly chasing the big sale because of commission? Is there a really expensive bed that's been there for ages that everyone's waiting to be snapped up by some hot shot?
the one I have my eye on is from Bensons for Beds, affliliated with Harvey's.
the difference between a duvet and a duvet cover? That between a pillow and a pillow case?
The answer to your thread is actually 'Yes' now that I understand it properly.
It's quite hard to Google "non-white duvet" as it's just covers which come up.
I reckon SOMEWHERE they exist.
its at that point that she gets to see what colour the duvet itself is, which is why we'll never know what colour it is.
the one on our bed is starting to look a bit off white. I have lots of duvets- they all seem to grey pretty quickly. I must shed like a snake or something. I might launder them and see how that goes, or else see if I can get new ones in the sales.
how often should you replace a duvet?
We got a new one a few months ago. The old one was about 6 years old and now lives on the spare bed. Did we wait too long to replace it? Or was that just the right time?
can you repair a duvet by taking the stuffing out, washing the sort of duvet case and replacing the stuffing with new stuffing?
Would there be a market for customizeable duvets, where you can swap the stuffing depending on the season? Could 3d printing be of use here?
Maybe the itsgits of beds will appear and answer them?!?!?!?!?
when i was younger i had a goose-down duvet that used to be my great-gran's when she was little. it was blue and the material had a print of little white feathers all over.
also "on the continent" they don't seem to like duvet + duvet cover combination. you just get some massive quilt thing (feather or polyester stuffed) and just put it straight on your bed. massive hassle to wash as well.
is it actually any good or do you get what you pay for? they were half price the other day, you see...
My current one is real down! Deep deep down.
I can tell you tomorrow how it is.
i look forward to arriving to a full report, tomorrow.
how's the duvet?
It kept me warm and I slept well. I think my other duvet was originally much better (and I would imagine far more expensive) but over the years the down distribution had become shameful making this one a vast improvement.
For £25 it was a bargain. Would recommend.
My wife complained that the new pillows (down) were a bit crinkly but not a problem I experienced.
What bedding is best for which sexual act.
I like a lower tog, I'm always warm.
Are you sleeping in an igloo!?
I think it's a sleeping bag
now give me my prize
