That's Simply Hucknall
everybody should own an ELO album
my aunt shagged mick in the 80s... just like those 2000 other women
Mick Hucknall anecdote. When I went to college there was this guy who looked exactly like Mick Hucknall, to the point where people would call him 'Mick', he was (understandably) no pleased by this comparison, eventually he decided to take action and got rid of his ginger dreadlocks, unfortunately about a week later the real Mick Hucknall did the same thing and the likeness became even more uncanny. I was at a festival with him (V99 - no need) and this drunkard stubbled up to him and said 'it is Mick Hucknall' 'Mick' replied 'no I am not' and the drunkard said 'yeah it is' threw his arm around him and took a photo. The expression on his face was not pleased. I like the fact that that photo must exist somewhere.
But some people are just scientifically ugly
Well I definitely wouldn't say I'm objectively ugly, just age is catching up with me way faster than most.
attractiveness is just one of them
though I guess self esteem is often based on the reflected perception of those around you, so attractive people probably find this reaction more forthcoming - surface coming first
and I'm a nervous wreck with the social skills of a turnip.
I will admit, I like looking at myself in the mirror and styling my hair (which kinda makes up for being the most unpopular DiSer). I also have really bad insecurities/sensitivity issues about my appearance though and can't smile with teeth showing ever. Just can't. Also can’t stand how the right-hand side of my face looks unmirrored.
And unless I'm drunk, I normally feel very uncool and burdenous in the company of most most people and often presume they see no worth in me.
I don't think physical attractiveness has got a whole lot to do with having high self-esteem though. True, there are some jack wills/Abercrombie wearing idiots in their late teens who look incredibly self-assured and flawless in a horrendous 'I have a trust fund', boring sort of way, but I think some people just have this demeanor about them that predisposes them into being social butterflies and thus tend to have high self-esteem, or appear to, but this isn’t necessariyl the same as being physically attractive.
I like you. You're alright.
I don't do teeth smiling either, on the rare occasions I have the urge to smile it instantly gets met with the urge to suppress my smile, resulting in a weird twitching battle over my face
and I think my top front teeth have wonked back into place a little bit
They look fine in the mirror but really awful on photos, hence why I never smile with an open mouth. I'm actually contemplating teeth recontouring.
I usually just put my hand over my mouth if I'm about to laugh or something. Fortunately there aren't many situations in which I'd smile in front of others with teeth showing. This website makes all other sources of humour redundant as far as I'm concerned.
this kind of thing past the age of about 15 tbh, pal
who cares is you're butters if you can lift heavy and are wicked sick at submissions?
but i almost never understand your posts
