Saved anyone's life? Created a great work of art? Invented something? I'm looking for some inspiration.
in 1 turn with a High Elf prince
In my logic module
I gave him my work jumper and stopped the traffic. Real Heroic! He even bled on me a bit :( I was hoping for some CPRing but he was conscious and pretty drunk.
I also invented a sandwich. Spinach, Egg, cheese, cranberry chutney. Yeah... not for everyone.
If you live in a city even better cos people in cities just hate humans
It's so bloody good. The only problem is the chutney, I've never learnt how to make it so I rely on my mum making it monthly.
Th cheese goes all melty. Can get a tad soggy
putting on my hazard suit as a precautionary measure
Disers almost never seem proud of themselves yet you've all got near genius level iq and love music so I'm expecting greatness
Some of us have to make do with a dust sheet and a good wash.
I saved an old woman's life. Was on my paper round and noticed she hadnt collected her milk so I got in touch with the paper shop and told them they should go check on her or get the number for her building manager so they went round and she'd had a bad fall and broken her hip.told this story in the pub last night to make the point that its the only good thing I've ever dne .
then lost the world to live somewhere around my mid-teens when 'the real world' happened. I've declined since.
the world to live
sometimes I think I'm making a genuine comeback with my work, but all I really get is the occasional 'best album since Morning Glory...' tag, except I'm not Noel Gallagher and I draw.
Wish i could do something a bit more hands-on, aside from the stuff at the donkey sanctuary, and my work in Africa, but the factory won't run itself, so cash donations are the best i can do at present. I'd like to think the £15,600 i gave away last year made a difference somewhere. If they say £2 a month can save a life, that's £24 a year...well, you do the math.
it changed me
Now it's "bought a kindle fire". How did I go so long without this?
I consider this one of my greatest achievements too
I'll probably just use this for taking selfies
when I was on the way home from work, I don't know what happened but I'm assuming she fainted or fell and cracked her head the curb whilst waiting for a bus. I first aided her whilst waiting for an ambulance using my jumper to stop the flow of blood from her head, turns out I saved her life *thumbs up* I've been fucking shit the past 11 years though.
Another hero of DiS
Kind of amazing how instinct kicks in when you see something like this and just start doing all the right things without really considering the gravity of the situation.
But as soon as the ordeal was over I remember getting my jumper back and looking at my hands and almost passing out because I was covered in so much blood. That would've been unnecessary stress on the paramedics.
I wasn't proud of taking, but it's a great image.
related: newborn kittens are adorably tiny and cute lil balls of fluff, even when drenched and cold
I still have it.
Maybe it should be.
Never classed it as a massive achievement.
Nothing to sing about
how long do they have to last? once 'rescued' a baby bird that had fallen out of the hedge but it just fell out again and got killed by next door's cat.
Got 100% on Aliens Exist on Rock Band (or that other one) on bass AND vocals in hard mode.
but fuck all to show for it in terms of big stories. I've always wanted to deliver a baby in a non-hospital location.
(Obviously the baby has to be named after me too- that's just the law).
Mostly when drunk on the way home though, otherwise I tend to keep myself to myself.
On NYE I got stopped by this man who was crazed that someone was trying to kill him. His eyes were mega blood shot and you could tell he was coked off his eyeballs. I tried to get him back to his place, but after almost fights (one of which ROLLED UP HIS SLEEVES) he just ran at a car that was parking up like he was going to attack it. He also threatened to hit me a few times.
This one example. I've also told a few crying indie boys to buck up their ideas and get themselves home, mostly because I didn't want them to get mugged.
not done anything of note since though
