we mean actual ales right?
I had an actual Christmas ale on Sunday. might've been Theakstons? not sure. tasted of raisons
Rudolph's Piddle, £1.30 etc
but a few of the shops i've been into have specially themed ales just for Xmas! Amazing it hasn't been done before really

I bought some Icelandic white beer from the wine shop the other day. Absolutely foolish impulse buy and now I'm feeling too ill to try it.
Will I enjoy it?
but fairly expensive for the size of bottle if i remember rightly.
Lancaster Brewery's Ginger Snap. Lush.
there's a few sharp's ones i like. especially the red ipa one. m&s citra and mosaic, probably others. jaipur.
are some of them called ruby ales? I think that's what they're called
According to the brewer: "A crisp and light, malty ale. Notes of toffee and refreshing, bitter hop delight the palate. A warming hoppy finish makes the ideal reward."
3.8% - very easy to drink
Ilkley Brewery - Mary Jane
Also from roughly the same region - Saltaire beers (Blonde, Pale etc).
But the Cascade Pale Ale is one of the nicest ales around.
the last friday of every month - £2 a pint with various guest ales from around the country
From Keighley originally, it never seems to be on when I'm back home.
Strollop's Lobster Scrumpy
Blackadder's Bowel Basher
and it was delicious
as my mum has only bought Coors.
but I'd highly recommend their Barney's Brew wheat beer.
