and rammed full of people from winchester
They were as shit as the ones here.
Don't be so possessive. It doesn't suit you.
The glühwein was excellent *and* cheap.
...as many stallholders have relocated over here for the festive period as they can earn more Deutschmarks apparently.
I said "Lose-chester more like"
well now you know.
none of the Winter Wonderland bollocks.
And that you and your family have an incredible, restful and fun festive period. My lack of enjoyment of Christmas markets shouldn't affect your appreciation at all and if my negativity has upset you I can only apologise.
hopefully the Christmas break will help to heal these wounds.
actually what is missing from over here are Reiberdatschi and proper gebrannte mandeln.
I got a small painted wooden xmas decoration, of an angel holding a ball next to a toy duck on wheels. It's easily my most treasured possession.
I HAVE BEEN TO BELGIUM
You people still in the office on Monday will be in for a treat!
they have a Christmas shop that is open year round. I went there in an August: http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/e2/a3/f9/e2a3f915f6c6b62d537b9790173eaabb.jpg
Their Christmas shop is also open year round. I went there in September.
I didn't see a Christmas shop so I couldn't verify that it was open
They are now playing Come Home by Amatorski. You would fucking love it.
In the Cotswolds somewhere too open all yr, faringdon?
German xmas market.....nothing says Christmas like an overpriced german sausage
fucking massive, covers pretty much all of Birmingham city centre. Had a nice beer.
not sure which year, mind, so better check the latest rankings before you go.
I'm fairly meh on Christmas markets in general, was in Tallinn on a mini-holiday last weekend and we went to one which was nice though. Bought a wild boar sausage which I made pasta with last night and now the entire house smells of wild boar.
all dead now.
Is in sheds, is that a usual thing?
Never been as it looks like overpriced tat being sold to horrible crowds in the name if festivity
Stick to your garden centres.
I believe that's exactly how Leeds City Council were marketing ours this year.
the other choices are Windsor (might be difficult to park) or Southbank (have to catch the quite-pricey train and will be full of the insufferable scum who call London their home).
and South-wank. More like.
happy to help
supposed to be nice!
Hope you have a lovely weekend.
Was decent. Got a guy to make a name sign for my daughter's bedroom door - he spelt her name correctly, so a positive experience all round.
As for the Southbank one, it will be murderously packed with one-day travelcard wankers. I assume that most right-thinking Londoners avoid it like the black death.
no need to get a travelcard.
But then I live in Winchester so it's not like I particularly have to expend any effort to go there
We'll be kicking off early.
I would imagine your family have grown quite used to crushing disappointment.
but had to carry him on shoulders for hours and now my back hurts...
