Monday for me. Put them out on Sunday night. Cheers.
put 'em out whenever I fucking well choose.
So Thursday. Put them out Wednesday.
General waste bin + recycling gets pick up on Thursday. Garden Waste bin every other Friday.
That means today was the first bin day of my new house.
It's green (recycle) one week, black (general) the next.
No need to "put them out".
The bin men come into your house?! Maybe South London ISN'T totally backward and shit after all!
I read "put them out" as wheel the bin onto the pavement / whatever (which we don't need to do as the bins practically are there anyway). I just put the bins out whenever the bin is full.
Wheely bin in the street which I keep topped up whenever the internal bin needs changing
What the fuck are we going to do about this, guys?
That'll show him.
and his and his girlfriend's movements so should be easy enough.
His and his?
his and his girlfriend's. What do you not understand?
I just dump rubbish in the bin room by the car park and forget about it.
Any weird Christmas-related bin days here?
Normal collection for me.
They better be coming out on Xmas day or I want a rebate on my councul tax.
also i live in a converted terrace so share my bins with the flat below us. unfortunately i literally dont know how many people live in the flat below, but it seems like a lot. maybe 7? anyway, they produce a lot of rubbish so there's never any space in the bins
Our bins are always in the front yard anyway.
Alright Hank Hill or one of the other characters from King of the Hill.
too many #
should have called it "the thread you've all BIN waiting for!!"
can't put them out the night before because the seagulls fuck with them too much in the early morn'
Let’s get it on ‘til a early morning
Girl it’s all good just turn me on
put them out Sunday afternoon/evening.
gets taken from out front yard, just need to put it away when we get home. thanks.
Bins out on Thursday.
By putting them 'out' than means wheeling the recycling wheelie bin 1 foot to the left, 50cm down the bath and then 1 foot to the left so it's the other side of the garden fence.
We have two wheelie bins: one for most recylables, the other for garden and food waste.
Unfortunately, we still have to use bin bags for household waste. This can be quite annoying!
Luckily, the Council provide us with an annual supply of good, marked, strong black bin bags, suitable for most home bins.
Unfortunately, the year's supply perhaps only lasts for half a year in our circumstances. Nappies do take up a lot of our bin space! This will be a problem some of you experience yourselves, no doubt.
Incidentally, our usual wheelie bin 'home' technically crosses into our neighbours garden (we are in a terraced house, and have a shared front lawn, I suppose). Our neighbours asked us to move them to the front of the fence (ie on the pavement) so as not to damage the lawn. We refused because he stole our flowerpots. Tee hee!
I will not be answering any more questions on bins ever again. Please refer to this post for all future bin and bin related threads. Thank you for your time.
if you're up for it?
The cleaners didn't empty my bin a few weeks ago, as I was still working when they came round (#workplacehero). So I took one off the shelf and used that instead - emptying my unemptied bin into the main office bin.
I knew the spare shelf-bins would come in handy one day!
Will use them sparingly.
What exactly does your job entail? Shitting in the bin?
Obviously I'm VERY important, so they're (correctly) scared of disturbing me.
Doesn't tend to happen in London because we're all bigger picture kind of people, hence why we've chosen a better life.
Wheelie bin is OK, but it is a pain in the arse getting all the recycling in the right box and carried out to the road. The beer can one has so much manky juice in it.
My neighbour puts mine out, it seems <3
