I don't have any female friends so can someone help me out with some fashion advice please?
Will that do?
Can't remember the name. I'll send you a msg on Monday
I have this dress http://www.asos.com/traffic-people/traffic-people-miss-marple-cape-dress/prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=4016926&SearchQuery=Traffic+People+Dress&pgesize=36&pge=1&totalstyles=50&gridsize=3&gridrow=8&gridcolumn=2
And this bag http://imgur.com/fklD161
But no idea what other jewellery accessories to wear with it. I think the dress needs a belt, but then I'm not sure what kind of belt. Any opinions/suggestions would be quite welcome.
SSP btw pls.
But I love that peacock bag and hardly ever get to use it so I'd quite like to.
Can't really help beyond that
Peacock pearls if it's at all possible.
get a belt like this http://featherstonedesign.com/platinum-addiction/
with some matching earrings
(OK so that's mega expensive but the idea is there)
and how about some sheer stay ups with peackock embroidery at the top?
Those stockings are amazing.
either a thick one, or a chunky chain, eg
Accessorise with a thick gold bangle like in the second picture, and then some gold and purple dangly earrings?
But it's actually really nice. The bad is decent too.
the bag is decent too.
'red lipstick makes you look like a whore'
depends what you're wearing it for tbh. personally i would go for a gold necklace of some description. probably a big statement one with some colourful jewels in colour(/s) that match the clutch? or a plain gold chain will do. (big gold chains = the best, they go with everything.) but if you're looking to make it classier then what BITT said about pearls works too.
not sure it needs a belt, but i literally never wear one so don't listen to me.
I look like crap 99% of the time at work so I really want to make an effort for this, but without going overboard.
I think it needs a belt to break up the black, and because of the cape you can't really see my waist.
i would wear silver jewellery - probably biggish earrings, and a necklace that sits in the cut out triangle bit.
google 'peacock headband' - depending on what your hair's like a simple one would look really effective.
hold ups that b_i_t_t linked to and no belt cause of what shessohigh said
plain black shoes
no jewellery cause the bag is statement enough and the dress has detail except maybe earrings - how it's styled on the website is perfectly fine but you might think thats too boring idk
don't think that dress needs a belt at all. if you're going with jewellery then keep it simple.
Doesn't need any of that gold chain or belt & buckle nonsense that wouldn't look outta place with a fag holder and a knock off channel handbag.
If I were wearing it I'd be teaming it with for a neon acrylic cuff bangle. The subtle alternative would be chunky wooden bangle(s) in muted earth tones, eg moss, maroon, and/or... chartreuse.
The bag is ok: a nice enough accoutrement. But don't let it steal airtime from dat dress.
The dress is the start and the end of the story, though.
ads encouraging me to buy dresses.
Haha - the internet thinks I'm some sort of cross-dresser!
can someone recommend a nice party dress that suits me and is under £50 please. i've got lots of auburn hair and i'm a proud chubster. thanks.
I'm trying to find you something emerald/navy too x
asos have 20% off everything til tuesday!
If I were better proportioned I'd love to wear something like this http://www.asos.com/ASOS/ASOS-Foiled-Jacquard-Hitchcock-Dress-With-Cap-Sleeve/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=4485016&cid=8799&Rf-800=-1,80&Rf-300=1920,1992&sh=0&pge=1&pgesize=204&sort=-1&clr=Print&totalstyles=2014&gridsize=3
Also, like gb said, 20% off everything until tomorrow.
some dresses are just impossible cause of my boobs. now a 34H :( :( :(
is that even possible? They're so expensive wahhhghhh
do you like your legs? would you wear something short or do you prefer it longer?
Gold/gemmy bracelet, and longer earrings that are similar. I wouldn't bother with a belt/necklace as the neckline already has a fair bit going on. Also that bag is incredible.
Mine is in a better condition than that one too. Maybe I should sell it.
this is my favourite dress shop at the moment: http://www.sugarhillboutique.com/clothing/dresses/
I'm planning to buy this bear one for Christmas parties, it's a lovely cut: http://www.sugarhillboutique.com/aw14/folk-bear-skater.aspx
