You're an optimistic chap, tell me everything will be ok?
i've had some moments in my life where it felt worse than feeling bad or depressed or angry or whatever - the worst times are when you feel absolutely nothing and even putting on a smile feels like it's for the benefit of a world you absolutely do not get or *want* to get. And then it's gotten better and it's gotten okay and it's gotten good.
So: hang in. Even though it feels completely illogical, impractical and pointless, because when you're out the other side, it isn't any of those things. And maybe you go back that way again for a bit, but each time you're up top again, you do something new, you write more music, you have a shot at something you wouldn't risk otherwise. Stick around dude
is absolutely because while people haven't necessarily been in the exact circumstances you are, there are definitely those of us who have been at that numb, grey, why-hang-around checkpoint more than a couple of times around. But I think you're a good man, and I think you'll end up doing more good for other people too if you keep involved. So do :)
everything is going to be just fine
May seem trite but much more effective than me telling myself the same thing.
Hope things are going well for you froglet.
whatever happens, you can get through it and things will get better
Haven't posted in years but thought you should know that. Your soundcloud stuff is really strong. I'd give anything to have your level of talent. Keep at it dude! And, yeah, Puds is right, go see your GP if you're feeling like this - loads of us have done it before! That's what they are there for. Good luck buddy
I'm going through stuff a lot more raw than music at the moment though have to set it aside for now...hopefully I can come back to it if and when things improve.
Bless you for the nice comment though x
We don't speak often, but you seem like one of the good guys to me. I'm sure things will pick up and hope they do soon. x
come up tomorrow, there will be plenty of new chances, opportunities and hope for things to change. If not tomorrow then there's always the next day.
Keep just trying to get through things man and keep at it. One day this will seem far away I'm sure.
This may or may not be of any help but I heard about this site on Radio 4. It's a bunch of letters written by people recovering from depression to other people in that situation. I hope it may be of some use:
you got me rockin and a-rollin bamnan
