Do you think it is possible to get a thread out of the subject of wool washes?
don't pull it, whatever you do ahahaha
Don't use those plastic tabs of washing liquid, they don't fully dissolve, looks like you spilt glue over whichever item it lands on.
and reckon I will be until the day I die (unless they invent a gas or something).
I don't want these to shrink like all the others, should I go for wool wash or cool wash?!
I am out of my depth here. What have I done?
the proper way to care for wool is not to machine wash it but just occasionally rub it against a sheep
my jumpers have never been in a better condition
How else do you think sheep look so clean all the time.
but since having my washing machine serviced it's behaving less like a sheepmauler, so I'd trust most things on a wool or delicates wash (the spin is less ferocious, the cycle is shorter and cooler) but not angora or cashmere, which I always cool handwash in the sink then hang to dry in the airing cupboard. exception being a cashmere/lycra blend jumper dress which is supposed to be figurte hugging but goes a bit baggy after a day of sweating into it like a navvy, so needs a good hot wash to tighten it up again.
you're talking about your washing machine as in white goods washing machine, and jumper dress as in fabric item of clothing, yeah? ;-)
Things will surely shrink. I just don't wash woollen things.
