is the worst ad this website has ever had, ffs my eyes! IT HURTS
Is a beautiful testament to the tenacious optimism of humanity
because it doesnt look so much like an ad, more like decor/design, and therefore less bad
Mattj used to be a poster on here
really sorry if this all hurts your eyes
Still think you should re-release all the hit for six stuff btw
I appreciate the clearness of your response
I liked it. If it was a band we didn't love, maybe I'd feel different about it but I like the impact of it and how it warps the site.
I think the advert is capped at about 5 views per user, so you won't get it all-day long.
Tip: You could make your browser thinner and you won't see the gutters.
well done (please uncap me in fact)
It could enhance them.
rad, cool, hip indie music website
Did you forget a couple of zeroes?
I've been getting that one all day. it doesn't bother me as it's less intrusive than some of the other ads and doesn't make the jumping around any worse (nor better :( )
but is there a way to turn screen updating off until the page has loaded, to stop the blooming jumping up and down the page while it loads? it's starting to give me actual eye aches, which isn't ideal.
I really like the Hookworms advert. Black and white is always stylish. More stylish than FMV on the background.
Also, weirdly, with one of the adverts for a film (The Drop one, maybe) which automatically plays as a video it sometimes covers most of the screen. So instead of just being around the borders it plays over the main white section in the middle of the web page, but it still has the forum text over the top of it. Not sure if this makes sense?!
We've tried to turn these ads off in Safari for now.
and i think it does on firefox too. I gave up on using IE10 for DiS ages ago as it took about a minute to refresh
Just tried DiS using Hola browsing from the UK and I get all the invasive ads. Maybe try using Hola and browsing from outside the UK?

where, if you had ad-blocker, you couldn't see the rest of the site, so you had to disable ad-blocker to see the boards or something? Got so much work done that week.
