This seems a great site, really enjoying it so far. Cheers.
you are so, so bad at masking who you are. You're getting worse at it, even.
never been on a music board like this before.
I wouldn't lie about anything, especially my identity. After all, even when people laugh, I will always tell them Jake Bugg is my hero.
I think you'll do well here.
ROSCOE: Welcome to the forum; it's a big place, but lemme show you around
MARLON: Just what is Drowned in Sound, Roscoe? Where did it come from?
ROSCOE: That's a good question, Marlon! Well, forum-founder Sean had his life changed one morning when he witnessed an evil doppelganger drowning his beloved dog, Barnaby, and laughing in the lake known as Sound Lake. Since this moment, he has vowed to find out the identity of this - let us call it - 'Evil Sean', and for such purposes he set up a web forum meant for vigilantes who would band together to stop Evil Sean.
MARLON: Wow! All this history is relieving my spine of its great apathy!
ROSCOE: That's not all! Drowned in Sound really began to flourish when many of the vigilantes found they had several things in common: a love of collecting Paramore vinyls and reading Nuts Magazine! So they all decided they would focus on these and create a positive new world for these people who thought their lives had been ruined by this serial dog drowner.
MARLON: That's great! But when I am in Drowned in Sound what is there to do here what is it I can do here that would be inteesting to me? Now
ROSCOE: Glad you asked! There's so much to see! Of course there is the local forum where we all discuss contemporary issues of the day over fine brioches and continental flavoured crisps like Meghan Trainor and Balonz! The local library is stacked to the brim with back issues of Nuts magazine!
MARLON: Wow! Look at this one from 1870!
ROSCOE: Yes, there's just so much to see!
MARLON: You can only see a bit of her thigh! But what a bit of her thigh!
ROSCOE: I meant in Drowned in Sound, you insufferable piece of subhuman scum the bane of any decent man's existence why I should garrotte you here and now for the sake of future generations who even if they never are directly affected will always in some way be in some way impacted upon by even the tiniest ripples you add to the great ocean that is the past whether those ripples effect the narrower though nonetheless complex river of history or not the indisputable fact remains and will remain in the heart of god that you did once have existed
MARLON: You're a real smart guy Roscoe
ROSCOE: And now on to the local businesses!
