The Gower Peninsula seemed like a nice part of the world when I visited briefly a few years ago.
which makes them sound a bit stupid:
Possibly more to follow.
Istic(al)? - as in property programmes where they say they want something "Minimalistic(al)" when "Minimal(ist)" would suffice.
Loved Funny Ha Ha and Mutual Appreciation. Does Computer Chess count? That was good too. The Puffy Chair was ok.
I liked Quiet City. That was good. And In Search Of A Midnight Kiss.
I hate Mark Duplass.
it's a young man's game
Drinking Buddies isn't really mumblecore but kind of is and that was nice
The realisation that an addition of an engaging plot improves the genre no end kind of kills the genre at the same time.
also Hannah Takes The Stairs in a guilty way
Probably my favourite non-plotty one
it was shite
thought that was fucking great tbh
Seemed way too calculated and cynical to me
and Puffy Chair are my faves.
Hmm, does The Unbelievable Truth count?
it was a bit like a mumblecore slasher film. it was ok.
which aren't strictly mumblecore: Cyrus, Jeff Who Lives at Home, Frances Ha, Drinking Buddies, Tiny Furniture.
Nights and Weekends is my favourite original one, LOL is quite good too. I didn't like Safety Not Guaranteed or In Search of a Midnight Kiss.
Think those are all the ones I've seen. Which are other good ones? I really want to see Computer Chess, and anything else involving Greta Gerwig.
