Do you have any new jumpers? Did you get a deal?
Will you be breaking out some old jumpers?
Talk to me.
looking to acquire some new this weekend
are xmas jumpers *still* gonna be a thing this year ugh
so this year I've prepared and got something a bit more subversive than the usual garish Xmas jumper
especially supposedly "alternative" ones like this pish - http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KMl-iCPlnuA/UtcmITcuD3I/AAAAAAAADQs/lbrOyqqfDKc/s1600/lntugly8bitchristmassweaterpicks.jpg
I have some jumpers. I think that the older stripey one may get moved into semi-retirement this year (for house use only). I've two other jumpers, one's a bit father dougal but it's good, they're both ridiculously warm.
got this and the same one in charcoal grey - http://www.asos.com/ASOS/ASOS-Lambswool-Rich-Cable-Jumper/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=3701104&cid=6993
also still got this that i got last year which i love - http://res.cloudinary.com/keep/image/fetch/t_post_large/http://c389604.r4.cf1.rackcdn.com/65bac897b9e3cdfb3d2e3729398faf2f.jpg
25 jumpers, need to throw some shit out :\
Blue V-neck. Not very good quality but it's doing the job.
I only have a couple and there's no likelihood of new ones on the horizon. Nay money like.
Favourite is a dark blue, cable knit, roll neck. I like a U-Boat captain in it. Assuming U-Boat captains are able to grow their hair a bit.
so need to replace.
but I've broken out the cardies. Going to do a full jumper assessment at the weekend and see if I need to get some new one for the winter.
I'm sitting in an office, not walking the Pennines.
thick jumpers are meant to be warm, man
unless they're not wool.
Basically, wool is too warm for indoors.
(NB: my current jumper is just fine)
i have about three jumpers but they're not very thick
i bought two new ones a month ago, both two sizes too big and fine knits so they don't keep me as warm as they should
i've got an alpaca mix cardigan that's really thick
and an angora mix cardigan that's black and white with a nice nordic christmas pattern on it
I always get the uniqlo merino ones, big fan as machine washable and they don't get that wool smell in the rain, in summer they stop selling them and do cotton ones instead but they are not as good. go through them quite quickly as I have nervous habit of playing with the cuffs and always wear holes in them
bit early to bust them out I think, and it's still quite warm in the office. Look forward to it though.
Some knob posted a selfie in a Christmassy jumper already on my facebook today though. :-|
waffle knit, scoop neck jumper with a buttoned placket. Chest hair is prominent.
I currently only have 2, need to get buying.
Any of you sonsofbitches want one? http://imgur.com/a/buA1b
like a Technical Coat.
I'd have them all off you if I want a guy.
They're like Gylfi Sigurdsson.
I really like it but have too many coats.
looks great though, keep it!
Olive green, ridiculously thick and chunky. It's a bit too warm for wearing in the office atm really, but perfect outside with just a jacket.
Howlin' by Morrison make awesome knitwear, they're so lovely in person. Really want a new one, just can't decide on which colour:
Here's mine today.
maybe i'm not someone you should be attacking so gleefully.
You're so funny, I love you.
(Much more value for money obviously)
and my girlfriend won't let me leave the flat wearing it :(
they have a lot of jumpers, a wide range of styles. I got one with a bird logo on it. I now have a massive 4 jumpers, one thin one, one tatty one and two normal ones. I rotate and wear each one for a week before washing.
but they also always have one or two absolute gems
nice and smooth, good fit rather than being all saggy, but warm.
I sometimes panic with TK Maxx as I know it is mostly absolute crap, but then they get a shipment in of some gems, often at the start of a "season". Then they quickly run out. So I find myself doing odd things like buying two of a pair of shorts they sell in different colours, then regretting it later. Or if I don't buy something I kick myself wishing I had got something and try and make it back there asap.
preferably a really thick colourful one.
Where's good to get a nice mid-range jumper in London, other than the standard places?
Not sure if it's too early to start wearing it. I think it is.
it had an animation of boxers in it, "ONE TWO UNIFLU". Uniqlo always reminds me of that.
So cardigans all the way, though I don't have many nice chunky ones. Gonna rectify that.
but now i think jumpers look really good on boobs
so never any need for jumpers. Until last month when I went back to the UK for first visit in 5 years. Hit Uniqlo before I left. Forgotten the simple pleasure of sitting in the pub with a pint of real ale, wearing a jumper.
Used to be a v neck man, seems to have become a crew neck afficianado in recent years. Not sure what this says.
Not going to let the moths get this one, no sirree!
anyway it's my new favourite jumper/sweater:
(The one with red on it, not the blue one)
