like that thing called Craig in that one set on the tube
The reveal, where the camera pans around and your man is just stood there behind one of the cast. Jesus.
One of the great horror 'reveals'
same with Dog Soldiers
I lent someone my copy and didn't get it back. And I can't remember who it was.
I HATE YOU, THAT PERSON!
I mean, even if you take the monsters out of the equation. Can't understand why anyone would do that.
Ruins the film.
I saw it once in a double bill with The Thing. That was cool.
even worth checking out?
but I'm also guessing he's seen them both, because, you know, he's marckee
It's alright. A little pointless and doesn't know whether to treat the 82 film as sacred or not. Unfortunately the best moments are when it's too similar to the previous one. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is good in it though.
That is a really bad film.
I just watched the death scenes on YouTube.
though how 'good' they are is another, less relevant, matter
if I'd never seen any other horror films.
caving + monsters is pretty much the most horrific thing I can think of, but the movie was a bit tame.
also check out Dog Soldiers by the same director. more tongue-in-cheek but just as brutal.
I hope I give you the shits, you fucking wimp!
and it's all just one of them losing it and attacking the others? Or is that another film.
Until the monsters show up.
I will *never* go potholing.
Imagine getting stuck in a tiny tunnel...... with Balonz?
bet everyone says you
Didn't realise why there was a stuck in a dark cave thread above/below this one.
the Cave or something? I think it had almost exactly the same premise and came out at pretty much the same time
quite liked it at the time, probably pretty bad though
until the ending that was crap
horror films that are undeniably better than The Descent:
Don’t Look Now
Ringu x 3
The Ring x 2
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Friday the 13th
Let The Right One In
Evil Dead x 3
… of the Living Dead x 3
The Blair Witch Project
28 Days Later
The Wicker Man
Got to be at least 100 more.
or texas chainsaw massacre
and 'a ride in the park' is a fairly different zombie take
to be anywhere in the top 150 or so would still make you one of the best.
