I bought this jacket at the weekend.
Looks alright on me. It's not me in the picture. http://www.hm.com/gb/product/13563?article=13563-B
And yes the apostrophe is in the wrong place.
Found out on Monday
that my new employer I start with next week are Business Casual dress. It's going to be quite a change from working in the city. Not sure I can go back to wearing chinos and a polo shirt to work. Might just carry on as I am
I need a new winter coat.
Probably won't settle for anything less than a red duffle, but can't find any which aren't either shit quality (Tesco, not even wool) or Gloverall (nearly £200, I'm not made of money).
Hmmmmmmm.
get the Gloverall, serious
they make such nice coats, well worth the money
Got a burgandy gloverall duffle
It's really nice and will last you. Even high street brands will be around the £100 mark (probably not wool) so I'd go for it.

Smart.
Got em or getting em?
just got em at the weekend
nice
cheers
:)
what make are those boots?
think i've got the same pair.
they're 'red or dead'
got them from schuh
yeah, snap
they're good boots, enjoy.
you have exquisite taste good sir
bd
Just bought this tie:
http://www.marksandspencer.com/plain-textured-tie/p/p22102223?colour=Black
I basically already own this tie but I accidentally left it at home this morning and needed a tie for this evening. Thanks.
i've started wearing boot cut cords
although they're quite belled in their cut, so i do pretty much look like I'm wearing flares. AND WHAT?! i've got a brown pair and a black pair.
http://www.fuzzdandy.co.uk/ekmps/shops/fuzzdandy/images/-cochise-bootcut-cords-brown-corduroy--[2]-285-p.jpg
I love flared cords.
Just ruined my new pair climbing over a low fence at Alexandra Palace. Bastards just ripped in the groin.
Gf is attempting to fix them, gawd bless her. It's beyond my sewing skills. Have fixed other things before but this is front and centre and needs a little more talent.
best of luck to her
cords ripping is the worst. once they start, it they're not properly mended and reinforced right away they're done for.

When did you take this photo?
believe it or not
I used photoshop
Wo.
More like this to be honest.

you accidentally pasted the same link again
I bought this coat the other week
http://www.whitestuff.com/womens/coats-jackets/blue-victoria-sponge-velvet-coat/
It's well cosy, and pleasingly like something I would have worn in the Nineties.
Yesterday I bought a nice striped scarf from Accessorize to go with it, I can't find it on their website for some reason so I can't show you.
that looks like it has feel appeal
it really does
it's comforting holding on to the cuffs.
I really like that
I have such a thing for velvet. And the colour is gorgeous, v you.
Nice coat
haven;t bought clothes in like a year
would really like to go mega-Cos style but I don't have several million pounds lying around.
I just bought this shirt.
http://www.joebrowns.co.uk/sp+outlet-shirts-favourite-floral-shirt+sh573?coloursel=A
It's a bit summery.
it's a bit noel edmonds too
I'd argue.
...but I think you are probably right.
:(
Roll the sleeves up and you'll be fine.
sorry that was harsh
just don't wear anything else with a strong pattern with it and you'll be grand :)
A functional parka: £70
http://www.tkmaxx.com/view-all-mens-new-in/blue-waterproof-quilted-coat/invt/24047127?VBMST=puffa
Made by Puffa, had no idea they were an actual brand. It is incredibly warm, so warm that I am unsure it will ever be truly cold enough to wear.
I like this
but I'm a very warm person.
I went to TK Maxx for the first time at the wekeend
its crazy in there.. like a mad jumble sale of branded goods.
Couldn't find anything I liked that fit me though

"I went to TK Maxx for the first time at the wekeend its crazy in there.. like a mad jumble sale of branded goods."
Loads and loads of it is shit
shit from last year that was shit and shops couldn't sell. Randomly though they get some good stuff in that is gold. I work near one so pop in once a week at least. Thinking about it, most of my clothes (all jumpers - it is good for jumpers) actually come from there. Christ, all pants, all socks, all jumpers, all jeans, a coat. Kin ell. I looked at the coats again when I went in last, all shite again and no puffa parkas left.
pretty much this^
Generally it's more miss than hit, and you have to search quite hard to find anything decent. I trawl through my local one about once or twice a month, especially the gold label section, and sometimes there's loads of bargains and genuinely great stuff to be found.
Would quite like this coat
http://penfield.com/media/catalog/product/cache/4/image/333x500/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/p/e/penfield-w14-mens-bowerbridge-navy-jacket_02.jpg Probably won't even get cold enough to wear it though. Fuck these mild winters.
okay fuck the red duffle
i want this NOW
http://penfield.com/women/jackets/w14-wmns-keswick-tan
gets the thumbs up from me
i still prefer this
http://www.asos.com/ASOS/ASOS-Duffle-Coat-With-Patch-Pockets/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=4391331&cid=15147&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=36&sort=-1&clr=Berry&totalstyles=17&gridsize=3
not enough duffles
i want this but the price :(
http://www.asos.com/gloverall/gloverall-swing-duffle-coat/prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=4418896&clr=Scarlet&SearchQuery=gloverall+red&pgesize=5&pge=1&totalstyles=5&gridsize=3&gridrow=1&gridcolumn=2
aye the gloverall one's are far and away the best
could you not justify it given it'd last you for a minimum of about 4/5 years?
Probably.
Given a regular duffle is £100 anyway, hmm.
Is there any normal shop I can actual try them on in?
I got zip up suede ankle boots
last week. I wore them on sunday on a four mile coastal pathway walk whilst pushing a wobbly pram containing an overweight 15 month old and it is safe to say that my poor little ankles are fucked forever. (nah, I've got them on today actually- nicely broken in now, innit.)
john lewis definitely stock them
why is this here?
Boards are fucked again.
Oooh, I'm gonna go have a look at some point then.
Cheers!
free returns!
Mine

Not really recently bought though - almost 2 years ago.
i want a paisley shirt or two
but can't find any that aren't awful
anywhere you can recommend?
Need to find some decent footwear.
Seem to survive on those thin £10 trainers that last a few months, but can probably stretch a bit further.
No idea when it comes to footwear that aren't sneakers/trainers about what's good. Could I wear boots?
this company are pretty good
http://www.mastershoe-sportshoe.co.uk/
Also if you're a new customer and you leave something in your basket a while they sometimes offer you a discount to get your arse in gear.
These (got them half price):

nice boots LP
i found a levi's skinny fit denim jacket i'd forgotten about in my wardrobe the other night, was well chuffed as i nearly bought another one last week!
^5s all round then
:)
also a couple of my mates were at jnr's night on friday as well
they said the "jagger off" was hilarious, i do hope you were taking part? ;)
we must know quite a few of the same people
jagger off was great fun
:)
definitely!
i hope you were the guy who apparently began his routine by simply going taps aff straight away :D
hahaha no but i know him well
pretty much the highlight of the night for me
:)
i think i want this jumper
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51pelqvxrTL._SY445_.jpg I like Jumpers and and a big fan of farms.
My gf bought me the world's greatest coat about a year ago
And I know (or I guess) it cost her an absolute fortune
I have worn it precisely twice
At this rate it should last me forever
That's all I've got
Oh, link
http://instagram.com/p/dy0Fn2HlU-/
now that's a fucking coat
Aye it is
Totally fucking impractical mind you
who gives a fuck?!
Well of course
It'd just be nice to get the chance to wear it more often
Bought a waxy yellow jacket in Liverpool when I went to PSYCH fest.
Think it's this one:
http://riverisland.scene7.com/is/image/RiverIsland/282148_main?$CrossSellProductPage514$
illegal character
You're an illegal character.
http://riverisland.scene7.com/is/image/RiverIsland/282148_main
But yeah that it so good.
Though one problem with the yellow jacket I bought is that it gets really dirty. I fell over while extremely drunk on Saturday night and there's a few blood splatters on it now (fell on my hands and got GRAZES, the grazes of a true WetherCrawl) and other general dirt but what will I wear while it's drying?
I'm such a dickhead,
that I took mine off when cycling through town on friday as it was raining and dirty water was splashing up the back of it :/
STAY CLEAN, YELLOW COAT
:D
surely yours is a wipe-clean variety? Mine's teflon coated but not plastic-y so dirt attracts :(
Not sure.
Will find out and confirm. Would guess at least a bit plastic-y.
Liking the look of these
for work during the winter (I can wear trainers to work).
http://sizestores.co.uk/hq/2014/10/12/adidas-originals-select-collection-tbc-size-uk-exclusive/
I've bought a load of stuff recently after not buying much for ages
it's quite good fun, might do some more.
black american flag t shirt from primark
Currently on the lookout for an autumn jumper
criteria:
crew neck
No big heavy ones with daft nordic patterns on, got one of those already
100% wool of some kind (no shitty acrylic slyly mixed in there) BUT NOT MERINO, that's not warm enough.
Went round tkmaxx at the weekend and couldnt find anything. Don't think this sort of jumper exists.
Sounds like the sort of thing you'd find at m&s
Howlin by Morrison
really nice thick knits, 100% wool, loads of different colours and styles. Can be found for sub-£90 with discount codes in various places at the moment but this is their own site:
http://www.morrison.be/clothes/brands/howlin.html
55 euro for a beanie
fuck.
off.
Buy a lot of plain American Apparel t shirts off Amazon
£6-9 each including delivery, yes please.
There is an amazing crombie sale on just now
There's a coat I like down form £699 to £199, although the one I really love hasn't been reduced yet. i'll probably buy one a boring £100 one from M&S like I did 8 years ago instead though. I'm so bored, I really need to replace some of my work wardrobe. Couldn't really care less about the stuff i wear out of work (which is also falling apart but who cares, plus my cat leggings were too big and had to go back!!! And they've sold out of the size down, so that fucks that up nicely.) I'm really cross today.
got this
http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/accessories/black-tartan-check-reversible-oversized-scarf-_323910409?intcam=UK_DIS_NLS_WOMENSWK24_Checks
when they say oversized they mean like a blanket, it's massive
got this dress for my birthday - totally ace http://www.joythestore.com/lou-fox-print-dress
and these boots but in red, which they don't seem to have any more http://www.office.co.uk/view/product/office_catalog/2,10/1778000078
still need to buy warm jumper and some new jeans - going to check out the jeans thread now for inspiration
my word
those are all 10/10
fistpump :)
that fox dress is cracking!
bought lots of knitwear and wool-based things recently, including
SNS Herning knit, probably the warmest jumper I've ever owned:

Bring on the cold weather...
that APC shirt is really cool
All decent

mega comfy
(please don't laugh at the website, its the only place that sells shoes my size)
Nice colour.
What size are you?
I'm so relieved that I topped out at a 12. Though it makes things difficult enough.
Bought this suit a week and a half ago
http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Simon+Carter+Solid+slim+fit+suit+jacket/199208743,default,pd.html
decent.
Approved
Phew!
Trying to buy a vintage suit to get married in.
Bloody minefield. Stakes are too far upped for my usually sartorially indifferent liking :(
