Looking forward to this film.
everything he does just seems so forced and affected
shame it hasn't occurred to him that what he needs to do to be taken seriously is be good at the acting thing
He might have the worst strike rate of any commercially successful actor.
It's just that they're almost uniformly bobbins. I think Holes and Bobby are the only things I've seen him in that weren't utterly terrible.
It's disappointing but that's not quite the same thing. Ford still has charisma. It's like how any movie with Gene Hackman in is definitely a cut above the shithouse it would be without Gene Hackman in.
He was pretty good in it.
He's actually OK in those two films
Was considering it but I'm not a huge von Trier fan and I didn't really fancy sitting through 4 hours of boning. Ended up watching the much tamer sounding Stranger by the Lake instead. That went well...
i'll say that for him
Clearly he's read too much negative critical press about Transformers and is desperate to try to be seen as a 'proper' actor. That article says that his behaviour meant that he had to be housed away from the rest of the cast. He's clearly got an all encompassing issue with it and I hope it gets sorted out. My girlfriend said that he'd be on her celebrity death watch if she did one.
The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman. It's worth a watch!
Personally, I think he's just suffering the all too common child star melt down.
He's so funny in Even Stevens, in a way that a teenager would normally never be. If he'd stuck with comedy, he could be doing any role he wanted... why he decided to transition to action star/serious method dick, I'll never know.
even though I was far too old for it.
He thinks he's Joaquin Phoenix.
