so i'm currently in the midst of shitty-night-sleep-itis, and have spent more time over the last two nights in bed trying to sleep (9 hours) than actually sleeping (8 1/2). i'm pretty tired.
but that's not the most tired i've ever been. that would be flying back from New Zealand, when i was up 10 hours before getting to the airport in the evening, then going 32 hours in various planes and airports without being able to sleep. then when approaching England being told we're diverting to Gatwick to refuel because Heathrow wanted to put us in a holding pattern and we had no fuel. then flying us from Gatwick-Heathrow because why not. honorary mention to spending a night wide awake in New Orleans airport too, with no sleep because there were no benches without mental arm rails between each seat, and because they spent all night piping bad cajun music through tinny speakers.
