Doesn't seem to get any stick, despite having a goal per game average of -3 or something.
The state of that gaff
Who probably shouldn't be an automatic starter.
The STATE of that gaff
although he'll probs leave next summer, state of our gaff atm
barring injuries, I'm predicting we'll go deep in the competition and maybe...maybe...get top four.
What'cha got Brentford?
PS please bring some ESB with you
have played really well at home recently, won our last two away matches i think (admittedly against Blackpool and Rotherham, but still). draw would do me though.
would totally go to the match too but eh, Middlesbrough is just too far. if you were in the midlands I'd think about it.
My first (Rangers) game of the season. 0-0.
I'll be disappointed with that one.
Didn't realise the two incidents were so close to each other.
This guy's reaction is great https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=t8OlfG1dF3w#t=111
Lovely, lovely goal.
forgot how route one that was.
also, never a pelanty.
*shit and weird
smashed Inverness last week, more of the samee
Villa are second?! No anti-bants but not a great time to play them. Will probably need more than a couple of late Arteta pens for this one.
is when TC23 is injured.
imagine if a Cleverley-powered Villa finished above United!
what is this all about?
imagine having to follow your team from St Petersburg to Wembley and everywhere in between in no particular order over a two week period for one tournament.
They would have got Euro 2020 no problems if they'd just stuck to bidding for that rather than committing to an Olympic bid which failed anyway.
Anyway I think this format might be pretty cool as a one-off.
Means pretty much everyone gets the chance to get involved in the pre-match atmosphere for a part of the tournament, loads of cultural variation (Brazil got boring toward the end...oh look a beach, wow).
Hope the Beeb and ITV go on location for every single match.
an indepth and nuanced understanding of Brazilian culture.

Quite like how we've quietly gone about hosting the business end of a major tournament.
Would quite like to catch some group games in Baku too.
in the interests of fairplay, we've guaranteed the final will be a neutral venue for the two best teams in the competition.
and an away draw. Probably entirely meanigless given the inconsitency in their standrd of play just now, so I'll try to read in neither good nor bad into that.
given we literally couldn't hold on to the ball for more than 10 seconds
still a draw is a decent result, playing home games on a sunday can get tae fuck though
as an excuse not to let us hold a major tournament ever again.
Still think that splitting the tournament around Europe is daft, but that'll be nice at least.
they are aware the place has no atmosphere aren't they?
of how much money they made having the CL final there in 2011 and 2013.
Good excuse for an indyref I reckon.
and not enough 5 star hotels in Cardiff.
translates as 'not enough opportunities for UEFA to extract as much money as possible from selecting that stadium'
was the lack of VIP suites in the stadium and not enough luxury hotel rooms in the city.
Unless Wales actually qualifies.
Can't see anything dodgy about that.
(yes, I know Baku will probably just build some)
Probably only about an hours flight from Britain...right?
would suggest it's fair that a couple of selections from northern Europe or eastern Europe are required?
on recently renovating their stadium in the hope of getting this selection.
You can't understand how nice it is after 4 games to be above Liverpool, Arsenal and United (especially the first one) after they kiddyfiddled us/ agreed wages with our best players before we'd agreed to sell them.
They gave you about £350m for a journeyman striker, Adam Lallana and a centre-half who'd spent one season in a major league. I think you did quite well. Them using their reputation to sway the players is nothing your own club wouldn't do if, say, a Championship club was playing hardball over one of their stars.
1: Good goal, but hardly worth writing about 20 years later.
2: Ridiculous (needlessly defensive) over-analysis of the first four games of the season.
Oh dear. Putting partisan fandom aside, you are so terribly wrong.
It doesn't need to be a 30 yarder in the top corner to be genius, you know.
he got really lucky with the spin of the ball before looping it over the last defender - have a close look at it. great goal to watch, although like fuck am I going to read 2,000 words on it let alone suggest anyone be required to do so
is a 2020 venue. that's nice.
but it could give me an excuse to go up to Glasgow to watch some games instead, so it could be worse.
